I've been in the deliverability space for over a decade and have used all of the major players, including ReturnPath (now Validity) & SparkPost (now MessageBird) - and we've always found ourselves back at Inbox Monster. The application is intuitive, the reports generated are useful and actionable...but what makes Inbox Monster top is the team of experts working behind the scenes. What do you like best about Inbox Monster?

Inbox Monster has been a life saver for our email program. We have worked with Josie for just under a year, but the amount of dedication and support she provided to analyze our deliverability, help us come up with an action plan to remediate our poor deliverability and sender reputation, and ongoing monitoring of trends after working through our issues, has played a significant role in the health and success of our email marketing.

Josie is always quick to respond and will walk through the issues with us, giving us valuable insights and recommendations along the way. My team does not have a strong background in deliverability, but Josie and the Inbox Monster team, has made a very technical part of email marketing very easy to understand and action against, allowing us to grow our skillset while also educating the rest of the company on deliverability best practices to ensure we do not fall into the same mess that we worked so hard to pull ourselves out of.

In October 2024, we found out, with the help of Inbox Monster, that our inbox rate with Gmail was at 1% with low sender reputation. After working with Josie, we were able to increase and maintain our Gmail inbox rate to 95-100% with high sender reputation within 4 months. I cannot recommend Inbox Monster enough. What do you dislike about Inbox Monster?

Email deliverability is overwhelming. This is not an Inbox Monster issue. The team at Inbox Monster is incredibly knowledgeable and gives so much information. A lot of the time, the analysis is easy to follow while meeting with the Inbox Monster team, but the amount of numbers and tabs within the platform make it a little difficult to follow on our own. We have a wonderful support team who are willing to meet at our cadence to discuss, but it's a bit difficult to do our own analysis outside of those meetings. I love the support I get from the team. They are responsive and resourceful. IM helped bring my company from being blocklisted to having a high sender reputation again. Forever grateful! The platform is very easy to understand and use. Integration was easy and our account rep is supportive. My team gains a lot of insight from the platform. What do you dislike about Inbox Monster?

I wish it offered list-cleaning services. I also think the seedlist logic has implicit biases so although I trust IM inbox placement results, I still take the results as directional. I may just not have a full understanding on how the seedlist logic works. I will work with my IM analyst on this to get a better understanding.

Implementation is a little tough when it comes to monitoring deliverability for journeys. We have so many journey's set up and our emails are always changing, so having to built automations that monitor deliverability for all of our journey's is a bit challenging. "An Actual Partnership in the Struggle to Arrive in the Inbox"
What do you like best about Inbox Monster?

I'm a big Inbox Monster fan. I've been working with Brad for the last 3 years. Notice how I mentioned an actual human's name there? That's because, unlike some other inbox monitoring solutions, Inbox Monster offers a comprehensive platform AND support.

And by "support," I mean proactive and reactive recommendations for any delivery issue that should arise. Add to that monthly check-ins where we discuss current and future state of our email & SMS program means that Inbox Monster is actually invested in ensuring that our direct response campaigns succeed.

Don't get me wrong. The platform is great; easy to navigate, filled with the information I need to ensure I'm reaching my subscribers. The Dev Team is always working on new features, including a recent SMS tracking / rendering and a competitive benchmarking feature.

What do you like best about Inbox Monster?

We've been using Inbox Monster for over 2 years now, and we've been very happy! It provides the necessary insights and signals for deliverability performance, and also is extremely useful during migrations. Our end goal is to maintain High IP and Domain reputation, and achieve 100% Inbox-placement across all relevant mailboxes. Inbox Monster helps us to test/monitor/analyze and benchmark our email activities against our deliverability performance.

There are some good features to support our reputation monitoring, like Google Postmaster Tools and SNDS integration, blocklist monitoring, DMARC monitoring, spam-trap analysis, and creative design tools. We can setup alert notifications to our Slack and email to let us know when thresholds exceed the rule-sets, which is super helpful to stay on top of things if we don't have time to check the dashboard.

Deliverability can be complicated, but Inbox Monster provides a lot of signals to help us improve our email program. Brad's team of deliverability consultants are also awesome to work with and have helped us tremendously! The platform is easy to use, and has become an integral part of our business.
