I am a part-time (freelance) editor and, thanks to Desk-net, I can get involved in the daily editorial planning (for various newspapers I supply). I can make announcements and schedule my research. Organizing shifts and availabilities across many different offices becomes a lot easier and quicker. Having a cross desk event calendar and assigning people to events is also very helpful. What I love about Desk-Net is the fact that I don't really notice it: It simply works. As a journalist, it's really difficult to keep track of different tasks and deadlines, and Desk-Net helps me doing that without any problem.
