The ability to share passwords across different areas of your business via different shared groups within LastPass helps keep software and platform access under control and manageable. We have a few students involved in our business, and not for profit clients, and I assumed they would be able to use LastPass at a discounted rate in their own businesses or projects, but LastPass doesn't offer concession pricing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It makes passwords for me, I don't have to try to think up another combination of random characters every time I make a new account somewhere. LastPass then remembers it for me, I'm an IT admin and I have a lot of passwords - so having LastPass keep up with them is very helpful indeed. It also auto fills them in websites when I return. LastPass also stores them in a searchable format so its easy to find what I'm looking for, and launch the site directly from it.

Has an app for the cellphone so I can carry all my password with me in case I don't have my company laptop.

Sub folders, ease of sharing folders, folder structure. Adding any text strings and attachments to items without LastPass scanning on the backend. Unlimited amount of items to add to a shared folder and unlimited amount of shared folders. Can import large files and multiple items and not receive upload errors. Some issues after migrating an ex employee's vault to a shared folder, attachments would not download and had error. Said to contact Support, which we did and worked with them over months never resolving the the issue or recovering the attachments.

No way to see which items have attachments in them unless clicking into every item type that could contain an attachment.

When exporting the entire vault including all shared folder items, the .csv export left out the file path to the shared folder and sub folders. Worked with Support on this as well and no resolution.

Major issue with user's sharing keys and when user's would log in, they would see special characters in the shared folders they were part of, instead of English. And unable to see any items in the vault until LP Support cleared their sharing keys. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love being able to go to one place for all my passwords, not only is it secure but it is also user friendly with the auto fill, easy to navigate the site on the web or on my mobile device. When I'm at work my personal passwords auto populate in the banking website when I want to use work credentials to log in. Sometimes the LastPass popup blocks me from making a selection on a drop-down menu on a website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I used to be a paying user of LastPass. Now I urge you PLEASE dont use LastPass, PLEASE dont let friends or family use LastPass. For years I advocated fror friends and family to use LastPass. Now I regret it and have spent years apologizing for it.

if you are already using it STOP NOW - migrate off right away! then change all your passwords!

They were breached. They hid that they were breached. Their so called "Secure vaults" are being decrypted by users that trusted them and sensitive actions being taken. Cryptocurrecny stolen and more.

it works great most of the time and appears to have great security. A minor annoyance is that on some idiosyncratic websites that use a third-party interview for logging and it doesn’t always know what to do which I suspect is more of the fault of that third-party, but for the most part, I use it dozens of times a day without problems and I’ve used it for years and my entire family is using it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

on the iPhone, come on occasion when one of the glitchy sites mentioned above either can’t find a password or wants to fill it with the wrong one. It is sometimes hard to get the LastPass face out of the way, but this only pops up every few days and usually the fault Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
