Honestly, there is very little to dislike. If I had to pick something, it would be that the processing time for more complex images or 3D renderings can sometimes be a bit slow. I started using Recraft a few days ago after it was recommended by Google AI when I searched for ways to create mockups. Previously, I relied on FreePik, but I often found myself frustrated with some of the results and the overall layout of their website. I design websites from scratch, hand-coding in PHP and MySQL for small businesses in my area, and most of my clients rarely have quality photos of their products. This has always made it challenging for me to even demo my apps effectively.

After trying Recraft about half a dozen times, I quickly fell in love with its user interface and how easy it is to use. The results have been much better than what I was getting from Freepik. Now, I am seriously considering purchasing their paid plan. At the moment, I keep the Recraft page open most of the time for rapid mockup generation. I haven’t needed to contact support, as most of my questions have been answered easily on their site.

I work as a designer and I am currently using it to generate references in branding and web design projects, such as logos, icons, and brand applications.

Positive points:

- Control of artistic style;

- Generation of SVG vectors;

- Inpainting editing;

- Background removal;

- Upscale;

So far, I have noticed only three things:

- Limitations in complex prompts;

- Low adherence to negative prompts;

I've tried many AI tools but many are very similar and really based on just generation of images. Recraft is based around projects and does much well. While some of the AI images aren't great, others have been so spot on that i have ended up using them in projects. The conversion to vector files is uncanny and accurate. The mockup generator is so helpful in putting logos on your generated images and such. The interface does have it's quirks and you have to get used to working in artboards but if you use things like illustrator then you will feel right at home. I wish more key combos worked in navigation of the UI but I'm sure those things will improve.
