"Great, easy to use product!"
What do you like best about SchoolAuction.net?

Easy to use, great help guides, great polished website/user experience for bidders, great reporting functionality Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SchoolAuction.net?

-Wish we could've pre-scheduled custom text messages to be sent during the live event.

-Wish we could guarantee all processing fees would be covered via extra donation (although the help guide clearly explains The Offset Fees feature is not electronically connected to the actual credit card fees charged by your merchant account and are set by you as a means of reimbursement for MOST of the fees banks charge so do not expect an exact accounting match.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Vanessa Beyers of SchoolAuction.net

We're glad to hear that you find SchoolAuction.net easy to use with great help guides. We also appreciate your feedback on the pre-scheduled custom text messages and processing fees. For the text messages, we will take this into consideration for future updates. And for the processing fees, we now have two options for asking your supporters to cover fees/costs associated with your event: Offset Processing Fees (only) and the Last Ask (configurable for donations to cover cc fees, as well as other fees/expenses). You can learn more about it here: https://www.schoolauction.net/last-ask/ or you can reach out to our Support team via the Help widget in your event site. Thank you again for your feedback and we look forward to working with you again!

"SchoolAuction.net was the perfect solution for our school"
What do you like best about SchoolAuction.net?

The price is right and online auction looks great and is user friendly. It's nice that returning users already have an account, so people that have been at the school for years can login and get bidding. I really like the platform and ease of use. I love that I can see historical data and that my event can be migrated over every year, no re-inventing the wheel for the same annual online auction each year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SchoolAuction.net?

Customer support varies. Sometimes you get wonderful help, and other times someone sends you a link to look up your answer, when in auction season is not super helpful. One downside of SchoolAuction.net is that you cannot see max high bids. With Greater Giving we were able to see this information, which would help in Development to know the capacity of a donor at that moment in time. It is also very unfortunate that it does not talk to Raisers Edge and we have to manually input our data from School Auction into Raisers Edge, which is time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Vanessa Beyers of SchoolAuction.net

Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm so glad you find our software to be user-friendly and you appreciate all the post-auction reminders as well. As for max high bid visibility, one of our reasons against making them visible was that it could lead to an unethical advantage for chairs to be able to see them, especially if chairs are bidding themselves, so it was done in the consideration of fairness - I can see how that information could be valuable for you to see though. Thank you again for all your feedback, and we look forward to helping your school with their next fundraiser.
