"A good service but lacks intuitivity"
What do you like best about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric?

What I like best about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric is how it brings together data from multiple systems into a unified, trusted layer that can be used across workflows. Instead of workflows being siloed or dependent on complex integrations, the Data Fabric makes information accessible, consistent, and reusable across the entire ServiceNow platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric?

Complex setup and learning curve: It can take significant time and expertise to properly model data sources, relationships, and governance rules.

Dependency on ServiceNow ecosystem: The full benefits are realized only if much of your workflow and data strategy lives inside ServiceNow, which can create vendor lock-in.

Performance at scale: In very large, complex environments, pulling and normalizing data from multiple systems may introduce latency if not carefully optimized.

Cost considerations: Licensing and implementation costs can be high compared to lighter-weight integration tools.

Change management: Shifting teams to rely on the Data Fabric instead of existing integration practices often requires cultural and process adjustments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good Software, Slight Improvements Needed"
What do you like best about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric?

What I like best about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric is how it unifies information across different systems and workflows. Instead of having to chase down data in multiple places, the platform creates a single layer of truth that’s accessible across the ServiceNow ecosystem. This makes processes feel much more seamless and cuts down on errors that come from duplication or inconsistent records. I also appreciate the strong integration capabilities. It connects well not only with ServiceNow modules but also with external data sources, which makes it easier to automate more complex end-to-end business processes.

Another strength is the visibility it provides. Having data consolidated into one view means stakeholders can make decisions faster and with more confidence. For larger organizations especially, this reduces the friction of cross-team collaboration and supports smoother workflows. I also see a lot of long-term value in the platform’s foundation—it sets the stage for scaling automation as the business grows.

While it isn’t perfect, I think Workflow Data Fabric’s best qualities are its unification of data, integration power, and the clarity it brings to decision-making. These strengths make it a meaningful tool in the ServiceNow ecosystem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric?

What I dislike about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric is that the setup can feel overly complex and time-consuming, especially for organizations without deep technical expertise. The learning curve is steep, and while the features are powerful, they’re not always intuitive for non-technical business users, which limits accessibility. Performance can also be inconsistent—when dealing with very large volumes of data, the system can occasionally feel sluggish. Another drawback is the cost. For smaller organizations or those not fully invested in the ServiceNow ecosystem, the pricing may feel prohibitive compared to lighter, more flexible integration tools. Lastly, some advanced functionality seems locked behind technical customization, which makes it harder to unlock the platform’s full potential without dedicated resources. These challenges don’t outweigh the benefits entirely, but they do make the platform less user-friendly and more expensive to maintain than it could be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric is incredibly handy, useful, and easy to use. It excels in addressing urgent automation needs, making my workflow efficient. The interface is user-friendly and the navigation is amazing. Setting it up was a breeze, taking just five to ten minutes. I appreciate how it solves complex problems like breaking down data silos, enabling intelligence automations, and providing unified data access. The platform's integration capabilities are impressive, especially with its zero-copy connectors, which minimize integration complexity and costs. Overall, it's a powerful tool that significantly improves my efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric?

I find the pricing quite expensive, especially for meetings, which can make it challenging to justify the costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Review for service now workflow"
What do you like best about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric?

ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric is great because it unifies data from multiple systems in real time, enabling seamless, automated workflows without complex integrations. For example, it can pull HR data from Workday, trigger IT tasks in ServiceNow, and update Active Directory — all in one onboarding flow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric?

One drawback of ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric is that setting up and managing data sources and virtual tables can be complex, especially for teams without strong integration experience. For example, configuring secure connections and maintaining performance when pulling real-time data from external systems can require significant effort and troubleshooting. "G review"
What do you like best about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric?

What I like best about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric is that it unifies access to data across silos in real time using a zero-copy architecture, so you can connect directly to sources like Snowflake or SharePoint without duplicating or moving data. Powered by the high-performance RaptorDB Pro engine, it delivers lightning-fast transactions and analytics, while the semantic knowledge graph adds context so AI agents and workflows act intelligently, not just reactively. This combination reduces integration costs, improves efficiency, and empowers organizations to make smarter, faster, and more resilient data-driven decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric?

One challenge with ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric is that, while powerful, it can feel complex to implement and manage—especially for organizations new to ServiceNow or without strong data governance in place. The zero-copy architecture, while efficient, still requires careful setup of connectors and permissions, and performance may vary depending on the external systems integrated. Licensing and costs can also be a concern, since advanced capabilities like Workflow Data Fabric are often bundled into higher-tier ServiceNow packages, which may not be affordable for smaller organizations. Finally, because the technology is relatively new and evolving, documentation, best practices, and community expertise are still limited compared to more mature data integration tools. What do you dislike about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric?

Complex initial setup and a steep learning curve for new users can slow adoption, while licensing costs may challenge smaller businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Data Intregration, Elevates Workflows"
What do you like best about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric?

I appreciate the seamless integration and native fit of ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric within the ServiceNow ecosystem, which enhances automation, reporting, and user experience. Its unified data model eliminates data silos and provides real-time data flow across workflows, significantly improving decision-making, enabling efficient cross-department processes, and delivering a clear return on investment. The system's low-code data transformation and prebuilt connectors allow for easy setup and management, while its security features ensure trustworthy data sharing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric?

I find that ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric lacks out-of-the-box connectors for niche or industry-specific systems, which means that connecting to less common tools still requires custom development or third-party middleware. This limitation extends the onboarding time and increases the complexity of integration processes. For example, integrating our Lab Information Management System (LIMS) into ServiceNow requires custom API work, which could be streamlined with a pre-built connector. Additionally, during initial data synchronization with large datasets, performance trends lower than expected, posing challenges. The setup process also revealed data quality issues, such as inconsistencies, duplicates, and outdated records, which needed addressing. Furthermore, change management has been a challenge, as some teams were resistant to transitioning from their familiar tools to using this new system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric?

I find the process of navigating through different options and settings somewhat cumbersome. While the task management features are fine, setting up other aspects or finding specific settings in the interface can be challenging. I wish the UI features were enhanced to facilitate easier navigation and usability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
