What I like best about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric is how it brings together data from multiple systems into a unified, trusted layer that can be used across workflows. Instead of workflows being siloed or dependent on complex integrations, the Data Fabric makes information accessible, consistent, and reusable across the entire ServiceNow platform. Complex setup and learning curve: It can take significant time and expertise to properly model data sources, relationships, and governance rules.
Dependency on ServiceNow ecosystem: The full benefits are realized only if much of your workflow and data strategy lives inside ServiceNow, which can create vendor lock-in.
Performance at scale: In very large, complex environments, pulling and normalizing data from multiple systems may introduce latency if not carefully optimized.
Cost considerations: Licensing and implementation costs can be high compared to lighter-weight integration tools.
Change management: Shifting teams to rely on the Data Fabric instead of existing integration practices often requires cultural and process adjustments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
