"An amazing tool adding interactive touch to your presentations"
What do you like best about Slido?

The Live Polls and Q&A features are excellent for running quizzes, allowing the audience to interact with the presentation in real time and making it easier to keep everyone engaged. Incorporating these interactive elements into slides is straightforward—just a single click from the slido extension bar, making the process very simple. This tool has quickly become one of my favorites for presentations, and since I usually deliver at least one presentation each month, it has definitely been my preferred tool to integrate with PowerPoint so far. What do you dislike about Slido?

I'm not sure if this issue is unique to me or if others are experiencing it as well, but I haven't been able to properly integrate Slido with Google Slides. On the other hand, integration with PowerPoint was quite seamless for me. Another area for improvement is the AI Quiz feature. Currently, you can type in a topic and it generates five quiz questions, which is helpful. However, it would be even better if the tool could analyze the content of the presentation itself and generate quiz questions based on that material. That would make the feature much more useful. "Slido - Interactions made better."
What do you like best about Slido?

The interface is simple and intuitive, making it easy for anyone to join without any hassle.

Features like live polls, word clouds, and Q&A add a fun, interactive element and help capture feedback in real time.

I also like the anonymity option—it encourages people to share their thoughts more openly, which is especially valuable in larger or more hierarchical settings.

Its seamless integration with Webex and Teams is another plus, as it saves the trouble of switching between different apps.

On top of that, the detailed analytics and reporting make it easy to track engagement and review results after each session. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

The free plan feels quite limited, with even some basic features locked behind a paid subscription.

Customization could also be better—things like branding, advanced poll designs, or theme changes are mostly available only on higher-tier plans.

For very large audiences, I’ve noticed occasional delays in showing poll results, which can break the flow a bit.

The moderation panel could be more intuitive too, especially when handling multiple sessions or a high volume of Q&A.

Lastly, stronger offline or low-bandwidth support would be a big plus, since not every participant always has a stable internet connection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User Friendly & Intuitive"
What do you like best about Slido?

It is very easy to navigate around the product. Very easy for someone who is not a tech savvy person to create a poll and to make use of the tool. Some of the features are more user-friendly than other tools I have used before. E.g., you can control the active poll one poll at a time depending of which one you wanted to use and multiple polls can be created under 1 project title / room / canvas. Very easy and I prefer that a lot. Also, there is no limit (or the limit is very high) to insert a number of options for the poll itself. Also, it is very easy for the poll participants to join in and interact with the poll w/o the need to sign in / other complicated way to join in, always a plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

2 things to improve maybe:

1- I couldn't get to the point where you can restrict the minimum number for a participant to pick (a minimum number they must fulfill / select from the options) to allow them to submit an entry but only a max number. I think that option would be useful - if it is not there yet, or if there is, not quite intuitive that I couldn't find it.

2- The aesthetics could be improved I think - it will be much aesthetically pleasing for presentations.

That's all. Thank you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent piece of software / service that allows for adding easy interaction into presentations"
What do you like best about Slido?

The application allows for very simple and intuitive addition of different types of interactions to presentations. Personally, I have used Google Slides. The onboarding process for meeting participants is very easy and reliable – via a QR code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

The customization of slides with quizzes or polls could be improved. I also think that the app’s pricing model could be a bit more attractive. Personally, I give presentations 2–3 times a year, and in this situation, purchasing an annual license is somewhat expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

1. Participant Tech Challenges

Although it’s user-friendly, some participants may face difficulties navigating the platform, especially older or less tech-savvy individuals.

2. Free Plan Limitations

The free version has restrictions on the number of participants and features available, which might not be sufficient for larger events or advanced needs.

"Perfectly Designed Software--So Easy!"
What do you like best about Slido?

Slido is super easy to use and requires virtually no instructions. The slides step you through. There are many types of quizzes and polls. You can also customize with logos or other graphics. The very best thing about Slido is that it requires NO accounts, sign ups, email verifications--nothing--from the audience. Just snap the QR code or go to slido.com and type in the number on the screen--and you're instantly in the quiz. It worked perfectly, and the audience loved the interaction! It's a perfect tool for teaching, as it's not just about delivering information--you must also find out if the audience understands. What better way than to check their understanding on the spot?

I've used *other brands* of similar software, but they were a little awkward to use and required the audience to sign up with an account. That severely slowed things down. But Slido is a perfectly designed software, and I don't know how they could make it any simpler. I did a "one-time" use for a weekend presentation, but you can set up your slides, experiment, and practice as much as you want. As I was setting up the slides, I remember thinking, "Someone really did a beautiful job designing this! It's way too easy." With almost all products or software, there things you immediately notice that are missing or that would be nice to have. I never felt that with Slido.

I also had a small billing issue where I was practicing on an account, but when I decided I liked it an paid, it was for a new account. Rather than re-creating all the quizzes, I emailed customer support (on a weekend) and they switched the payment to the original account within 15 minutes. Slido will be a permanent part of future presentations.

If you do any kind of training, teaching, or anything the helps with audience interaction, try Slido. You won't be disappointed! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

There was nothing to dislike. I suppose you can always make an argument about price for anything, but once you see how easy it is to use--and the perceived value by the audience--it's well worth the money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless and Super"
What do you like best about Slido?

Slido is completely seamless in its integration into Google Slides and PowerPoint. The designer or presenter can easily create and deploy interactions within the presentation tools. Implementation is a snap. The user experience is equally seamless - I use it every time I have a meeting larger than 20 people, to keep them engaged and contributing valuable feedback. I have also found the staff and support to be very responsive, every time I have reached out to customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

I have had some international participants report that they could not connect to the Slido app... but when I follow up, we can't seem to find the problem. I will keep testing it with international users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Boosted Audience Engagement Effortlessly"
What do you like best about Slido?

Slido makes audience interaction incredibly easy and engaging. I especially like the live polls, quizzes, and Q&A features—they’re intuitive to use and help boost participation during meetings or webinars. The real-time response tracking is also a great plus, making sessions feel more dynamic and interactive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

While Slido is generally excellent, I think there’s room for improvement in terms of customization options for the visual layout. It would be great to have more flexibility to match event branding or corporate themes. Also, the first-time login or joining process can be a bit confusing for non-tech-savvy participants. "Experience of using Slido"
What do you like best about Slido?

I really liked how easy and intuitive Slido was to use for creating a quiz. The interface is clean and beginner-friendly, making it simple to add questions, set time limits, and manage the quiz flow. I especially appreciated the real-time response tracking—it made the whole experience engaging and interactive. Slido also provides a smooth experience for participants, with no need to sign up or install anything, which helped everyone join quickly and easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

One thing I disliked about Slido is that some of the more advanced features—like detailed analytics or customization options—are locked behind a paid plan, which can be limiting for students or small events. Also, while the quiz feature is great, it would be even better if there were more flexibility in question types and visual customization to make quizzes more engaging. Lastly, the mobile interface, although functional, can feel a bit cramped when multiple options or longer questions are involved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Slido offers interactive slides for more motivating lessons"
What do you like best about Slido?

I use Slido with my students and they really enjoy the lessons when I use it, because it makes the lessons more dynamic and fun, I also use it during teacher training. Once teachers know that they can make their presentations more interactive, they start integrating it into their lessons. The feedback I get from teachers is very positive.

It's an easy platform to use and implement, once you know how it works, and it can be accessed from any computer, anywhere, all you need is an internet connection. It's good because it can be integrated with curriculum content. I can use it frequently because it doesn't restrict the number of presentations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

It's not a good thing that the free version has restrictions on the poll slides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
