"Not a way to improve productivity"
What do you like best about Time Doctor?

The software itself is well made, support is fast and reliable. They have apps, extensions and all kinds of different ways for you to use it, which is good i guess to have options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Time Doctor?

I think its fine, I just dont agree and do not like its purpose. I still think it doesnt help employees to be productive, it's a way of micromanagement that i do not agree with. If you're on the employer side, I also think it'd be time consuming and pointless to check on each employee... i'd say its cheaper to hire people you trust and prove theyre productive. Response from Laura Ramsay of Time Doctor

Hi Sabrina,

Thank you for sharing your perspective and for recognizing the quality of our software and support. We understand that not everyone agrees with the concept of productivity tools like Time Doctor, and we respect your point of view.

Our intention is not to enable micromanagement, but rather to provide transparency and insights that can help teams build trust, support fair pay, and work more effectively — especially in remote and distributed environments. Many organizations use Time Doctor as a way to empower employees to showcase their work and balance accountability with flexibility.

We appreciate your honest feedback, as it helps us continue the conversation about how productivity tools can best serve both employers and employees.
