Whova was a great platform for our conference. As a speaker and participant, whova's features made it easy to connect with participants and other attendees, as well as promote my session and provide handouts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some things were a little hard to find, like how to add a copresenter, figuring out uploading handouts, and finding the social promotion features. However, once I did locate them, they were easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy access to agenda sessions, organizing my own agenda sessions, notifications of meet-ups, engaging with attendees, and being able to connect with them through various social media platforms. Real-time updates are handy, and the digital version of the event schedule was also handy to have in the palm of my hand instead of lugging around a heavy notebook with paper form. Can take notes under each session, this is helpful. All the resources you need for a successful event are at the palm of your hand, or on your laptop accessible anywhere. I like the immediacy of the Whova app during my conference. When a time shifts forward or backward, organizers can push out messages to attendees alerting them. This actually happened at our Annual Business Meeting. Early schedules said our Service Awards dinner would begin at 6 p.m., but it was shifted to 6:30 p.m. and a cocktail reception in a different location was scheduled from 6-6:30 p.m. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is nothing that I dislike per se. I found the inability to clear the notification bubbles a little annoying, but not disruptive to the performance of the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how the whova app is very well organized, making it easy to navigate and find what I'm looking for. There are so many features the app offers that allow users to interact with information and other users on the app. From creating group messages, to sharing photos, or staying up to date on posts by the event organizers, and much more, being able to have one app that can do it all makes the experience more convenient and enjoyable for users. There's not much that I really disliked about whova, as it was always working reliably for me. Maybe certain elements about the layout could be improved, but I don't think there's anything wrong with it now. I really liked the app overall, and any improvements would just make it even better. How it is different on desktop to cell phone. For example on desktop I can see everything on cell phone items missing like the entire name of room and #. I can add for class to link to my calendar on desk top not on cell phone when registering. When I go to my agenda on cell phone I can only read part of where I needed to go, on my calendar I can read the entire name of the room and #. The best things that I liked about Whova was the ease of use. Scanning attendees in to conference via QR codes was a breeze. Having the full agenda and my agenda at my fingertips was perfect for knowing when and where to go. Uploading photos was super easy and instant sharing with colleagues was fun! Having the ability to connect with attendees that I never would have met or known otherwise was certainly a bonus.

the downside of Whova would probably be from the Speaker side .... it must have been off-putting to see so many people on their phones while they were presenting important topics. Their only hope was that they all were listening and engaged.
