I need to verify this information but I believe when we find our ideal customers in different states yet of the same company, the credits will get charged even for people that we already screened for. In our case we are looking for contractors nationwide. When we find John Doe from ABC Construction, and under different searches find him again, when we clean the data, I believe we get charged to run the same information for verification. For us, its a numbers game.. with hundreds of thousands of contractors we do not have time to remove existing contacts in the database (something we should do) before requesting another cleaning on a new list. I can't say enough good things about ZeroBounce. This platform does everything I need to keep my email list clean and my sender reputation intact.

I also like that I can see if the recipient has classified us as spam or if the recipient is no longer at the email they provided us.

The process was relatively quick, considering the number of email addresses it had to validate. I like the thoroughness of the report and the ability to generate the AI summary. I can't say this is a dislike, but I was a bit confused when I first tried uploading the CSV file. I was getting a blank popup window that never populated anything. When I eventually closed it, another small popup came up and disappeared before I could see what it said. It turned out I needed to edit the CSV file. I removed all other columns other than the email column (although this may not have been necessary, just can't have more than 1 email column). Once I realized this was causing the issue and edited the file, it uploaded fine. So maybe I would recommend a clear error message in that original popup, advising an issue with the upload and recommending to ensure the file contains only 1 email column. Zerobounce works really well and is easy to implement. It's a very focused solution and a great starting point. Our team was struggling with an massive influx of spam emails being submitted on our website form as a result of PMAX campaigns on Google Ads. The ZeroBounce email verification functionality stopped that problem dead in its tracks. While the solution is very effective, their pricing is not competitive compared to comparable solutions like NeverBounce. I once tried to utilise API but was never able to fully make it work. This would mainly be due to me as I was not able to create proper process. Not much to complain about. I did try a few similar services, but at the end I always end up with ZB. What could be great is if ZB would be able to search for emails based on domains and person name as well. Email validation keeps our servers from getting flagged before we even send out our campaigns. Our CRM and campaign management software has free email validations too but this is more accurate and definitely has better reports.

We dont use it often so I purchased a pay-as-you-go (or so I thought I was purchasing a non subscription pay as you go plan) but got charged a subscription cost. I messaged them about the misunderstanding and was refunded right away. No major upsells, extra verification of unnecessary details. Resolved the issue right away.
