A couple weeks ago, I joined the stage at #Sigsum with my long-time friend, Margaret-Ann Seger. We explored how data powers companies like Figma—those built around design and experience—and what the future might look like as AI, design, and data continue to converge. Of course, no fireside chat in 2025 would be complete without talking about how AI is changing the way we work. We discussed why designers are more vital than ever—because they push us beyond “good enough” outputs toward something truly great. We also talked about “AI hype” and the fear-mongering that often comes with it. Many teams feel pressure to match exaggerated stories of exponential productivity. But in reality, AI’s impact on the product development process is far more nuanced. The most valuable insights come from sharing real examples of where it truly makes a difference—and where it doesn’t. I’d love to hear your stories of how AI has genuinely transformed the way you work. Thanks to the team at Statsig for having me! https://lnkd.in/g37c-dZM
