The Antavo Loyalty Engine is a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution designed to collect, gamify, process, manage, and generate customer loyalty data. It goes beyond mere data management; it's a comprehensive loyalty solution packed with built-in functionalities to create and customize loyalty schemes from scratch.
By incorporating numerous gamification elements, the system fosters active engagement with the loyalty program, nurturing long-term loyalty both inside and outside of the buying cycle.

But here’s the twist: while our focus is loyalty, our solution seamlessly integrates with other systems like CDPs, POS systems, and marketing automation platforms. Through native integrations, webhook communication, and REST API endpoints, the Loyalty Engine works hand-in-hand with existing customer relationship management platforms you work with, providing a smooth and seamless data flow.
Whether customers interact offline, online, or through mobile apps, our product offers capabilities to apply loyalty schemes, game mechanics, and other configurations across all channels of interaction, boosting engagement at every touchpoint.
The Loyalty Engine uses workspaces to store loyalty program logic configurations of different loyalty programs separately, each with its own customer database. By having loyalty programs separated in different workspaces, you can easily manage and customize each program independently.
Configuration of the loyalty scheme is made in the Antavo Management UI, the control center for loyalty logic and customer management of a workspace. This web-based interface has been crafted to enable loyalty scheme configuration; instigation of loyalty tier systems, campaigns, gamification, rewards and promotions; and loyalty reports. The Antavo User manual contains detailed descriptions of the functionalities and configuration steps.
Cloud-native
The Loyalty Engine is built as a cloud-native product, designed to operate on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for a robust foundation for managing a loyalty program. This brings significant advantages across multiple fronts, including scalability and cost-efficiency, infrastructural reliability and availability, as well as advanced data protection and privacy.
API-based
Built from the ground up to be headless, our system seamlessly integrates with commercial platforms, marketing automation tools, POS systems, ERPs, and virtually any external system through APIs. Dive into direct access to core functionality and underlying data via our high-performance, low-latency, robust REST APIs. Data integrity and security are rock-solid, thanks to key-based signing mechanisms. This powerful headless approach means we don't provide a dedicated frontend solution. Everything you need for the customer-facing side is at your fingertips through our APIs.
Event-driven
Events are at the heart of the Loyalty Engine. Every customer interaction is captured as an event in our event-based system. These events can trigger any configured loyalty mechanism, calculation, or workflow. Additionally, they help build dynamic customer audiences and provide a comprehensive history of customer interactions. Events are always tied to a customer, ensuring data is retained to understand and engage with customers better.
Modular
The Antavo Loyalty Engine is a modular solution. Each module is a low-dependency, stand-alone component that delivers specific loyalty features. With a straightforward configuration process, you can rapidly deploy the initial loyalty program. Modules can be activated at any stage during the loyalty program’s lifecycle providing stepwise site enhancement and responsive business adaptations.
Data compliance
Compliance with data privacy laws, such as GDPR, and any applicable national implementing or supplementary legislation, (including the DPA 2018), the UK GDPR, the CCPA, and any other applicable legislation protecting the fundamental rights and freedoms of persons and their rights to privacy with regard to the Processing of Personal Data, also requires awareness of recorded data assigned to specific customers.
Antavo handles all event data transparently on behalf and under the instruction of clients, therefore, you as a client determine the purposes and means of processing personal information—i.e., why and how the personal information is processed.
All customer data processed by Antavo is viewable by anyone with permission to access customer profiles. Therefore, no payment information, credit card information, or sensitive medical information should ever be sent as customer attribute values.

- Antavo implements various controls in the Management UI and APIs to secure customer data (e.g. request spoofing protection with API signatures, etc.)
Your responsibilities as a client include:
- Checking the well-formedness and accuracy of data attribute values provided to Antavo.
- Secure management of API keys and API secrets.
- Calling customer events using signed API requests to maximize customer privacy.
- Provision and de-provision of Management UI access with the appropriate roles.
- Management of administration roles.
- Getting customer’s active consent to process their personal data.
- Removing duplications and removing the data of customers who no longer consent to use their data.
