  • Conveyor belt lubricants based on diamines are already known from for instance EP-A-372,628. Such lubricants use acetic acid to solubilise the diamines. However a problem here is that at low pH, lubrication is lost. The inventors have found that on replacing acetic acid with a quaternary ammonium compound, and in particular didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride, an effective lubricant is provided.

Abstract

L'invention concerne une composition concentrée de lubrifiant contenant une ou plusieurs diamines et un ou plusieurs composés ammonium quaternaire ou des sels solubles de ceux-ci. L'invention concerne, également, un procédé pour lubrifier un système, par exemple une installation de lavage de bouteilles ou un transporteur à bande, consistant à diluer la composition concentrée de lubrifiant de l'invention et à faire passer le lubrifiant dilué résultant dans le système. L'invention concerne, en outre, une composition lubrifiante que l'on obtient en diluant la composition concentrée de l'invention avec de l'eau jusqu'à avoir une concentration d'utilisation convenable.
