組織治療システムの液体流路にて減圧を発生させるステップと;
該減圧を組織部位に適用するステップと;
前記組織部位から液体を前記キャニスタに回収するステップと;
前記減圧を解放するステップと;
前記減圧が解放されたときの前記減圧の減衰を計測するステップと;
当該計測された減衰から前記キャニスタの充填状態を判定するステップと;
を具えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記減圧が少なくとも前記液体流路の一部で解放されることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記充填状態は、前記キャニスタが満杯であるのか満杯でないかを表示することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記減衰を計測するステップが更に:
スレッショルド圧を前記減圧よりも低く設定するステップと;
前記減圧の解放時に、前記キャニスタが前記スレッショルド圧に至る時間を計測するステップと;
当該計測された時間に基づいて前記キャニスタの充填状態を判定するステップと;

前記源導管と通信して、減圧を放出するように構成されたバルブと;
前記検知デバイス及び前記バルブと通信して、所定時間前記バルブを開き、前記所定の時間に前記検知デバイスから検知データを受け取って減圧の減衰を判定して、当該減圧の減衰に基づいて前記キャニスタの充填状態を判定するように構成された処理ユニットと;
を具えることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項10に記載のシステムにおいて、前記充填状態は、キャニスタが満杯であるか満杯でないかを表示することを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項10に記載のシステムにおいて:
前記バルブが液体流路の少なくとも一部において選択的に減圧を解放し;
前記減圧の減衰は、前記液体流路の少なくとも一部において判定される;
ことを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項10に記載のシステムにおいて、前記処理ユニットが更に:
前記バルブが開いたときに、前記キャニスタがスレッショルド圧に達するのに必要な時間を計測し;
当該時間を用いて前記キャニスタの充填状態を判定する;
ことを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項10に記載のシステムにおいて、前記処理ユニットが更に:
前記所定時間が経過した後に前記液体流路内で達成した圧力を計測し;
この達成した圧力に基づいて前記キャニスタの充填状態を判定する;
ことを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項10に記載のシステムにおいて、前記処理ユニットが更に、前記液体流路内にブロッケージが存在するか否かを判定するように構成されていることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項10に記載のシステムが更に:
前記ターゲット導管と流体連結されており、前記第1バルブが開いたときに閉じるように構成された第2バルブを具えることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項16に記載のシステムにおいて、前記第1バルブおよび第2バルブは、電気的もしくは機械的に動作するバルブであることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項10に記載のシステムが更に:
前記処理ユニットと通信して、前記キャニスタが満杯になったときにユーザに警報を出すように構成されたアラームを具えることを特徴とするシステム。 - キャニスタの満杯状態検出能力を有する減圧治療システムにおいて、当該システムが:
減圧を提供する減圧源と;
組織部位に配置され、前記減圧源と流体連結されたポーラス状のパッドと;
前記ポーラス状のパッドと前記減圧源の間で流体連結されて、前記組織部位から出る液体を回収するキャニスタと;
前記キャニスタと前記減圧源の間で導管と流体連結されているソレノイドバルブと;
前記ソレノイドバルブが開いたときに前記導管内の圧力減衰を判定する手段と;
を具えることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項19に記載のシステムにおいて、前記圧力減衰を判定する手段が更に、前記導管と通信する流量センサを具えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項19に記載のシステムにおいて、前記圧力減衰を判定する手段が更に、前記導管と通信する圧力センサを具えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項19に記載のシステムにおいて、前記圧力減衰を判定する手段が更に、前記導管内の圧力が所定のスレッショルド圧に至るに要する時間を計測するタイマを具えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項19に記載のシステムが更に、キャニスタの満杯状態を表示するために判定された圧力減衰に応じてアラームを発する手段を具えることを特徴とするシステム。
