Abstract
Description
Claims (15)
- 1.第1及び第2の表面を有する平凸な透明ベースシートであって、前記第2表 面は実質上平面であり、前記第1表面はその上にほぼ半回転楕円体形状のマイク ロレンズアレイを有し、前記マイクロレンズの形状と前記ベースシートの厚さか 前記アレイに実質上垂直に入射する平行光が前記第2表面にほぼ焦点が合うよう に設定されてなることを特徴とする透明ベースシート。
- 2.更に a)前記マイクロレンズが実質上連続である、又は、b)前記シートが第2表面 上に反射層を包含する、又は、c)前記ベースシートが実質上平面の第1表面及 び第2表面を有する透明スペーシング層と、前記マイクロレンズアレイを含有す るマイクロレンズ層とを包含し、前記スペーシング層と前記マイクロレンズ層は お互いに接着している、 ことのうち少なくとも1つを満たすことを特徴とする請求項1記載のベースシー ト。
- 3.逆反射体であって、前記逆反射体が第1及び第2の表面を有する透明平凸ベ ースシートを包含し、前記第2表面は実質上平面であり、かつその上に反射層を 有し、前記第1表面はその上に実質上半回転楕円体形状のマイクロレンズアレイ を有し、前記マイクロレンズの形状と前記ベースシートの厚さが前記アレイにほ ぼ垂直に入射する平行光が前記第2表面にほぼ焦点が合い、前記逆反射体によっ て逆反射されるようにう設定されてなることを特徴とする逆反射体。
- 4.更に前記反射層が不連続であることを特徴とする請求項3の逆反射体。
- 5.更に前記ベースシートが実質上平面の第1表面及び第2表面を有する透明ス ペーシング層を有し、かつマイクロレンズ層が前記マイクロレンズアレイを含有 し、前記スペーシング層と前記マイクロレンズ層はお互いに接着してなることを 特徴とする請求項3の逆反射体。
- 6.更に a)前記逆反射体の全体の厚さが約0.05乃至約0.4mmである、又は、 b)前記スペーシング層の全体の厚さが約0.2乃至約0.3mmである、こと のうち少なくとも1つを満たすことを特徴とする請求項5記載の逆反射体。
- 7.更に前記逆反射体が前記スペーシング層と反対側の前記反射層上に更に接着 層を包含することを特徴とする請求項3記載の逆反射体。
- 8.更に前記反射層及び前記接着層が透明であることを特徴とする請求項7記載 の逆反射体。
- 9.更に前記逆反射体が前記ベースシートの前記第2表面と前記反射層との間に 画像物質包含することを特徴とする請求項8記載の逆反射体。
- 10.更に前記画像物質の少なくとも一部はクリアーで、前記接着層により逆反 射体が情報を有する書類上に接着されたときに、外光中目視で書類上の情報の読 み取りを妨げる事がない程度の画像を形成していることを特徴とする請求項9記 載の逆反射体。
- 11.前記反射層が不透明で不連続であることを特徴とする請求項8記載の逆反 射体。
- 12.a)硬化性組成物を調製する工程と、b)実質上半回転楕円体形状の凹部 のアレイを有する成形マスター上に前記組成物を付着する工程と、 c)少なくとも一方に柔軟性があるほぼ平面の透明基体フィルムと前記成形マス ターとの間に組成物のビーズを広げる工程と、d)付着した組成物硬化して前記 基体に固着したほぼ回転楕円体形状のマイクロレンズアレイを有する複合体を得 る工程と、e)前記複合体を成形マスターから取り外してベースシートを得る工 程と、 を包含することを特徴とするベースシートの製造方法。
- 13.更に前記硬化性組成物がハード及びソフトのセグメントを有する、紫外線 硬化性、ワンパート、無溶媒の、放射性付加重合型、架橋性有機オリゴマー組成 物であり、前記硬化工程か紫外線露光を包含することを特徴とする請求項12記 載のベースシートの製造方法。
- 14.更に前記ハードセグメントがポリウレタンであり、前記ソフトセグメント がポリエステルであることを特徴とする請求項13記載のベースシートの製造方 法。
- 15.更に a)前記組成物が前記半回転楕円体形状の凹部の平均深さの20%を越える距離 で前記成形マスターの表面の上にはみ出ない、b)前記製造方法に更に前記基体 の露出面に鏡面反射層を施し、逆反射シートとする工程を包含する、 c)前記製造方法に更に前記反射層上に接着層を1層施す工程を包含する、 ことのうち少なくとも1つを満たすことを特徴とする請求項12記載のベースシ ートの製造方法。
