Abstract

PURPOSE: A transparent resin composition causing no layer release phenomena, having improved bending and flexural properties, obtained by blending a specific impact-resistant polystyrene with polystyrene and a styrene-butadiene block copolymer in a specific ratio.
CONSTITUTION: (A) Polystyrene is blended with (B) an impact-resistant polystyrene wherein a butadiene type rubber polymer prepared by grafting styrene onto a butadiene type rubberlike polymer is dispersed in an average particle diameter 0.5W10μ in a state that the butadiene type rubber polymer includes polystyrene and (C) a styrene-butadiene block copolymer comprising 60W85wt% styrene in such a way that the amount of polystyrene is ≥50wt%, the ratio of the butadiene type rubberlike polymer is 0.4W0.8wt% based on total composition, and the ratio of butadiene in the component C is 5W10wt% based on total composition (the butadiene block is dispersed in the form of sphere or cylinder with a size ≤0.1μ in the composition). The amount of butadiene in the component C is 10W15 times as much as that of the butadiene type rubberlike polymer.
