Abstract
Description
도면에 도시된 바와 같이, 종래 ELD는 게이트라인(G)과 데이타라인(D)이 교차하여 화소셀영역을 정의하고 있고, 화소셀영역에는 파우어공급라인(L)이 데이터라인(D)과 평행하게 배열되어 있다. 파우어공급라인(L)은 게이트라인(G)에 평행하게 배열되도록 형성할 수 있다. 그리고, 화소셀영역에는 스위칭소자(T1)와 구동소자(T2), 스토리지캐패시터(C) 및 EL다이오드(EL)를 구비하고 있다.
Claims (3)
- 게이트라인과,상기 게이트라인에 교차하여 제 1, 제 2 및 제 3 화소셀영역을 각각 정의하는 제 1, 제 2 및 제 3 데이터라인과,상기 화소셀영역을 지나가는 제 1, 제 2 및 제 3 파우어공급라인과,상기 화소셀영역 각각에 형성되며, 게이트라인과 데이터라인에 전기적으로 연결되는 스위칭소자와,상기 화소셀영역 각각에 형성되며, 상기 스위칭소자의 일전극에 게이트가 연결되고, 파우어공급라인에 소오스가 연결되는 구동소자와,상기 구동소자의 드레인에 연결되며, 상기 제 1, 제 2 및 제 3 화소셀영역 각각에 대응되도록 형성되는 제 1, 제 2 및 제 3 EL다이오드와,상기 제 1, 제 2 및 제 3 파우어공급라인에 독립적으로 연결되는 제 1, 제 2 및 제 3 전원전압단자를 포함하며,상기 제 1, 제 2 및 제 3 파우어공급라인에는 상기 제 1, 제 2 및 제 3 전원전압단자를 통해 각기 서로 다른 전원전압이 인가된 것을 특징으로 하는 전계발광소자.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 화소셀영역 각각에는 상기 스위칭소자와 상기 파우어공급라인의 사이를 연결하는 스토리지캐패시터가 더 포함된 전계발광소자.
- 게이트라인과, 상기 게이트라인에 교차하여 제 1, 제 2 및 제 3 화소셀영역을 각각 정의하는 제 1, 제 2 및 제 3 데이터라인과, 상기 화소셀영역을 지나가는 제 1, 제 2 및 제 3 파우어공급라인과, 상기 화소셀영역 각각에 형성되며, 게이트라인과 데이터라인에 전기적으로 연결되는 스위칭소자와, 상기 화소셀영역 각각에 형성되되, 상기 스위칭소자의 일전극에 게이트가 연결되고, 파우어공급라인에 소오스가 연결되는 구동소자와, 상기 구동소자의 드레인에 연결되며, 상기 제 1, 제 2 및 제 3 화소셀영역 각각에 대응되도록 형성되는 제 1, 제 2 및 제 3 EL다이오드와, 상기 제 1, 제 2 및 제 3 파우어공급라인에 각기 연결되는 제 1, 제 2 및 제 3 전원전압단자를 포함하는 전계발광소자의 구동방법에 있어서,상기 제 1, 제 2 및 제 3 데이터라인에 동일한 구동파형을 인가하고, 상기 제 1, 제 2 및 제 3 파우어공급라인에는 각기 다르게 셋팅된 전원전압을 인가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전계발광소자의 구동방법.
