Description
Claims (16)
- 금속층및 상기 금속층상의 용재(鎔滓)층을 구비한 용융조를 포함하는 야금 용기내에서 금속 산화물로 부터 금속및 금속 합금을 제조하는 방법에 있어서, i)캐리어 가스및 고체 탄소함유 물질및/또는 금속 산화물및/또는 다른 고체 물질로 인해 용탕(鎔湯)이 상기 용융조의 표면위의 공간속으로 방출되어 전이 구역이 형성될 수 있도록 상기 캐리어 가스및 고체 탄소함유 물질및/또는 금속 산화물및/또는 다른 고체 물질을 상기 용융조와 접촉및/또는 상기 용융조위로 부터 접촉하는 상기 야금 용기의 측단면부위를 통해 상기 용융조의 내부로 주입하는 단계와;ii)상기 용융조로 부터 상기 전이 구역속으로 배출된 반응 가스를 후소손(後燒損)처리하기 위해 산소함유 가스를 상기 용융조 표면위의 공간속으로 주입하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 단계 i)은 용탕(鎔湯)이 용융조에 침투하고 용탕이 상기 용융조의 표면위의 공간속으로 방출되어 전이 구역이 형성될 수 있도록 충분한 운동량으로 상기 캐리어 가스및 고체 탄소함유 물질및/또는 금속 산화물및/또는 다른 고체 물질을 상기 야금 용기의 측단면부위를 통하거나 용융조의표면위로 부터 상기 용융조의 내부로 주입하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 단계 i)은 용탕(鎔湯)이 원천과 같은 방식으로 상기 용융조의 표면위의 공간속으로 방출되도록 상기 캐리어 가스및 고체 탄소함유 물질및/또는 금속 산화물및/또는 다른 고체 물질을 상기 용융조의 내부로 주입하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항내지 제 3 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 탄소함유 물질은 고체,액체또는 기체 형태의 소정의 적절한 탄소함유 물질을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항내지 제 4 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 금속 산화물은 광석및/또는 일부 정련(精鍊)된 광석의 형태로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항내지 제 5 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 금속 산화물은 예열 처리되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항내지 제 6 항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 상기 다른 고체 물질은 예컨대, 융제(融劑)또는 용재(鎔滓)형성 약제등의 소정의 적절한 물질을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항내지 제 7 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 캐리어 가스는 산소 결핍 가스를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 8항에 있어서, 상기 캐리어 가스는 질소를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기 캐리어 가스는 예컨대, 후속적으로 야금 용기로 이동되는 금속 산화물을 부분적으로 정련시키는데 사용되어온, 상기 야금 용기에서 방출된 폐기 처리 가스를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항내지 제 10 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 산소함유 가스는 공기를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 상기 공기는 예열 처리되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 금속 산화물로 부터 금속및 금속 합금을 제조하는 장치가 제공되고, 상기 금속및 금속 합금 제조장치는 i)용융조를 포함하기 위해 베이스, 측벽부, 천장부및 가스 출구를 구비한 야금 용기와;ii)산소함유 가스를 상기 야금 용기내의 공간속으로 주입하기 위해 상기 용융조의 위부분에 배치되는 제 1 송풍구; 및iii)캐리어 가스및 고체 탄소함유 물질및/또는 금속 산화물및/또는 다른 고체 물질을 상기 용융조내부에 주입하여 용탕이 상기 용융조의 표면위의 공간속으로 방출되어 전이 구역이 형성될 수 있도록, 상기 용융조와 접촉하는 상기 야금 용기의 측단면부위의 내측또는 상기 용융조의 윗부분에 배치되는 제 2 송풍구를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 13 항에 있어서, 상기 제 2 송풍구의 출구 단부는 상기 용융조의 표면윗부분에 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 13 항에 있어서, 상기 제 2 송풍구의 출구 단부는 상기 용융조속에 침잠(沈潛)배치될 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 13 항내지 제 15 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 제 2 송풍구는 상기 캐리어 가스및 탄소함유 물질및/또는 금속 산화물및/또는 다른 고체 물질로 인해 용탕(鎔湯)및 용융조내의 용재가 원천형태로 상기 용융조로 부터 방출될 수 있도록, 상기 캐리어 가스및 탄소함유 물질및/또는 금속 산화물및/또는 다른 고체 물질이 상기 용융조내부로 향하게끔 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
