Claims (35)
- 단일 실체(single entity)로 혼입된 복수개의 피분석물을 검출하는 시스템으로서, 상기 복수개의 피분석물 중 2개 이상은 피험체로부터의 체액 중의 인플루엔자 바이러스 감염을 나타내며, 상기 시스템은
a) 샘플 수집 유닛 및 분석 조립체를 포함하는 유체 장치로서, 상기 샘플 수집 유닛은 상기 복수개의 피분석물을 함유할 것을 의심되는 체액 샘플을 상기 분석 조립체 내에 포함된 반응물과 반응시켜, 상기 2개 이상의 피분석물의 존재를 나타내는 하나 이상의 검출 가능한 신호가 산출되도록 하는 것인 유체 장치,
b) 상기 하나 이상의 검출 가능한 신호를 검출하기 위한 검출 조립체를 포함하는 판독기 조립체, 및
c) 검출된 신호를 외부 장치로 전송하기 위한 연통 조립체
를 포함하며, 상기 복수개의 피분석물은 적어도
i) 인플루엔자 바이러스 감염을 나타내는 2개 이상의 피분석물로서, 헤마글루티닌 및 뉴라미니다제를 포함하는 인플루엔자 바이러스의 표면 당단백질의 조합 또는 복합체를 포함하는 2개 이상의 피분석물, 및
ii) 추가의 피분석물
을 포함하는 것인 시스템. - 제1항에 있어서, 인플루엔자 바이러스 감염을 나타내는 2개 이상의 피분석물이 인플루엔자 A형 바이러스 감염, 인플루엔자 B형 바이러스 감염 및 인플루엔자 C형 바이러스 감염으로부터 선택되는 인플루엔자 유형을 나타내는 것인 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 헤마글루티닌이 H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6, H7, H8, H9, H10, H11, H12, H13, H14, H15 및 H16으로 구성된 군으로부터 선택되고, 상기 뉴라미니다제가 N1, N2, N3, N4 및 N5로 구성된 군으로부터 선택될 수 있는 것인 시스템.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 헤마글루티닌이 헤마글루티닌 H5이고 상기 뉴라미니다제가 뉴라미니다제 N1인 시스템.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 추가의 피분석물이 혈액 매개 병원체를 나타내는 피분석물을 포함하는 것인 시스템.
- 제5항에 있어서, 혈액 매개 병원체가 스타필로코커스 에피더미디스(Staphylococcus epidermidis), 에스케리키아 콜라이(Escherichia coli), 메티실린 내성 스타필로코커스 아우레우스(MSRA: methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), 스타필로코커스 아우레우스, 스타필로코커스 호미니스(Staphylococcus hominis), 엔테로코커스 패칼리스(Enterococcus faecalis), 슈도모나스 애루지노사(Pseudomonas aeruginosa), 스타필로코커스 캐피티스(Staphylococcus capitis), 스타필로코커스 와르네리(Staphylococcus warneri), 클레브시엘라 뉴모니아(Klebsiella pneumoniae), 헤모필루스 인플루엔자(Haemophilus influenzae), 스타필로코커스 시뮬란스(Staphylococcus simulans), 스트렙토코커스 뉴모니아(Streptococcus pneumoniae) 및 캔디다 알비칸스(Candida albicans)로 구성된 군으로부터 선택되는 것인 시스템.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 추가의 피분석물이 성 매개 질환을 나타내는 피분석물을 포함하는 것인 시스템.
- 제7항에 있어서, 성 매개 질환이 임질(네이세리아 고노리아(Neisseria gonorrhoeae)), 매독(트레포네마 팔리둠(Treponema pallidum)), 클라미디아증(클라미디아 트라코마티스(Chlamydia trachomatis)), 비임균성 요도염(유레아플라즈마 유레아리티쿰(Ureaplasma urealyticum)), 효모 감염(캔디다 알비칸스), 무른 궤양(헤모필루스 듀크레이(Haemophilus ducreyi)), 트리코모나스증(트리코모나스 바지날리스(Trichomonas vaginalis)), 성기 헤르페스 I형(HSV I형), 성기 헤르페스 II형(HSV II형), HIV I, HIV II, A형 간염, B형 간염, C형 간염, G형 간염 및 TTV에 의해 유발된 간염으로 구성된 군으로부터 선택되는 것인 시스템.
- 복수개의 피분석물을 검출하는 방법으로서, 상기 복수개의 피분석물 중 2개 이상은 피험체로부터의 체액 중의 인플루엔자 바이러스 감염을 나타내고, 상기 방법은
a) 하나 이상의 샘플 수집 유닛, 및 헤마글루티닌에 특이적으로 결합하는 제1 항체 및 뉴라미니다제에 특이적으로 결합하는 제2 항체를 포함하는 면역분석 시약을 함유하는 면역분석 조립체를 포함하는 유체 장치를 제공하는 단계,
b) 상기 유체 장치를 작동시켜 상기 유체 장치 내의 상기 면역분석 시약을 송류(direct)하는 단계,
c) 상기 복수개의 피분석물을 함유할 것으로 의심되는 체액 샘플을 상기 면역분석 조립체 내에 함유되어 있는 상기 면역분석 시약과 반응시켜, 상기 샘플 중 상기 2개 이상의 피분석물의 존재를 나타내는 하나 이상의 검출 가능한 신호가 산출되도록 하는 단계, 및
d) 상기 체액 샘플 중에 수집된 상기 복수개의 피분석물로부터 생성된 상기 하나 이상의 검출 가능한 신호를 검출하는 단계
를 포함하며,
상기 복수개의 피분석물은
i) 인플루엔자 바이러스 감염을 나타내는 2개 이상의 피분석물로서, 헤마글루티닌 및 뉴라미니다제를 포함하는 인플루엔자 바이러스의 표면 당단백질의 조합 또는 복합체를 포함하는 2개 이상의 피분석물, 및
ii) 추가의 피분석물
을 포함하는 것인 방법. - 제9항에 있어서, 인플루엔자 바이러스 감염을 나타내는 2개 이상의 피분석물이 인플루엔자 A형 바이러스 감염, 인플루엔자 B형 바이러스 감염 및 인플루엔자 C형 바이러스 감염으로부터 선택되는 인플루엔자 유형을 나타내는 것인 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 헤마글루티닌이 H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6, H7, H8, H9, H10, H11, H12, H13, H14, H15 및 H16으로 구성된 군으로부터 선택되고, 상기 뉴라미니다제가 N1, N2, N3, N4 및 N5로 구성된 군으로부터 선택될 수 있는 것인 방법.

- 제9항 내지 제17항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 면역분석 조립체가 하나 이상의 샘플 수집 유닛과 유체 연통하는 복수개의 채널을 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 복수개의 피분석물을 검출하는 시스템으로서,
a) 샘플 수집 유닛 및 분석 조립체를 포함하는 유체 장치로서, 상기 샘플 수집 유닛은 상기 복수개의 피분석물을 함유할 것을 의심되는 체액 샘플을 상기 분석 조립체 내에 포함된 반응물과 반응시켜, 2개 이상의 피분석물의 존재를 나타내는 하나 이상의 검출 가능한 신호가 산출되도록 하는 것인 유체 장치,
b) 상기 하나 이상의 검출 가능한 신호를 검출하기 위한 검출 조립체를 포함하는 판독기 조립체, 및
c) 검출된 신호를 외부 장치로 전송하기 위한 연통 조립체
를 포함하며,
상기 복수개의 피분석물은 적어도
i) 헤마글루티닌 및 뉴라미니다제로부터 선택되는 인플루엔자 바이러스 감염을 나타내는 피분석물, 및
ii) 바이러스 감염에 의해 인체에 부과되는 스트레스를 나타내는 피분석물
을 포함하는 것인 시스템. - 제19항에 있어서, 바이러스 감염에 의해 인체에 부과되는 스트레스를 나타내는 상기 피분석물이 c-반응성 단백질(CRC), 종양 괴사 인자 α(TNF-α) 및 인터루킨으로부터 선택되는 것인 시스템.
- 제19항 또는 제20항에 있어서, 인플루엔자 바이러스 감염을 나타내는 피분석물이 인플루엔자 A형 바이러스 감염, 인플루엔자 B형 바이러스 감염 및 인플루엔자 C형 바이러스 감염으로부터 선택되는 인플루엔자 유형을 나타내는 것인 시스템.
- 제19항 내지 제21항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 헤마글루티닌이 H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6, H7, H8, H9, H10, H11, H12, H13, H14, H15 및 H16으로 구성된 군으로부터 선택되고, 상기 뉴라미니다제가 N1, N2, N3, N4 및 N5로 구성된 군으로부터 선택될 수 있는 것인 시스템.

a) 하나 이상의 샘플 수집 유닛, 및 헤마글루티닌에 특이적으로 결합하는 제1 항체 및 뉴라미니다제에 특이적으로 결합하는 제2 항체를 포함하는 면역분석 시약을 함유하는 면역분석 조립체를 포함하는 유체 장치를 제공하는 단계,
b) 상기 유체 장치를 작동시켜 상기 유체 장치 내의 상기 면역분석 시약을 송류하는 단계,
c) 상기 복수개의 피분석물을 함유할 것으로 의심되는 체액 샘플을 상기 면역분석 조립체 내에 함유되어 있는 상기 면역분석 시약과 반응시켜, 상기 샘플 중 상기 복수개의 피분석물의 존재를 나타내는 하나 이상의 검출 가능한 신호가 산출되도록 하는 단계, 및
d) 상기 체액 샘플 중에 수집된 상기 복수개의 피분석물로부터 생성된 상기 하나 이상의 검출 가능한 신호를 검출하는 단계
를 포함하며,
상기 복수개의 피분석물은
i) 헤마글루티닌 및 뉴라미니다제로부터 선택되는 인플루엔자 바이러스 감염을 나타내는 피분석물, 및
ii) 바이러스 감염에 의해 인체에 부과되는 스트레스를 나타내는 피분석물
을 포함하는 것인 방법. - 제24항에 있어서, 바이러스 감염에 의해 인체에 부과되는 스트레스를 나타내는 상기 피분석물이 c-반응성 단백질(CRC), 종양 괴사 인자 α(TNF-α) 및 인터루킨으로부터 선택되는 것인 방법.
- 제24항 또는 제25항에 있어서, 인플루엔자 바이러스 감염을 나타내는 피분석물이 인플루엔자 A형 바이러스 감염, 인플루엔자 B형 바이러스 감염 및 인플루엔자 C형 바이러스 감염으로부터 선택되는 인플루엔자 유형을 나타내는 것인 방법.
- 제24항 내지 제26항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 헤마글루티닌이 H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6, H7, H8, H9, H10, H11, H12, H13, H14, H15 및 H16으로 구성된 군으로부터 선택되고, 상기 뉴라미니다제가 N1, N2, N3, N4 및 N5로 구성된 군으로부터 선택될 수 있는 것인 방법.
- 제27항에 있어서, 상기 헤마글루티닌이 헤마글루티닌 H5이고 상기 뉴라미니다제가 뉴라미니다제 N1인 방법.
- 제24항 내지 제28항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 면역분석 조립체가 하나 이상의 샘플 수집 유닛과 유체 연통하는 복수개의 채널을 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 시험 동물로부터 항-인플루엔자 약학 제제의 효능 및/또는 독성을 평가하는 데 유용한 약리학적 데이터를 얻는 방법으로서,
a) 하나 이상의 샘플 수집 유닛 및 분석 조립체를 포함하는 유체 장치를 제공하는 단계,
b) 약 50 ㎕ 미만의 생물학적 유체 샘플을 상기 분석 조립체 내에 포함된 반응물과 반응시켜, 약리학적 매개변수를 나타내는, 상기 샘플 중에 초기에 수집된 인플루엔자 바이러스 감염을 나타내는 피분석물로부터 생성된 검출 가능한 신호가 산출되도록 하는 단계,
c) 상기 검출 가능한 신호를 검출하는 단계, 및
d) 동일한 시험 동물로부터의 제2의 생물학적 유체 샘플로 상기 반응 및 검출 단계를 반복하는 단계
를 포함하는 방법. - 제30항에 있어서, 상기 유체 장치가 상기 샘플 수집 유닛, 상기 분석 조립체, 또는 이들 둘 다와 유체 연통하는 복수개의 채널을 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 항-인플루엔자 치료제의 효능 및/또는 독성을 평가하는 데 유용한 1 초과의 약리학적 매개변수를 모니터링하는 방법으로서,
a) 하나 이상의 샘플 수집 유닛, 및 반응 시약을 함유하는 분석 조립체를 포함하는 유체 장치를 제공하는 단계,
b) 항-인플루엔자 치료제를 투여받은 피험체로부터의 체액 샘플을 1 초과의 약리학적 매개변수를 모니터링하기 위해 상기 유체 장치에 적용하는 단계,
c) 상기 유체 장치를 작동시켜 상기 유체 장치 내의 상기 면역분석 시약을 송류하는 단계,
d) 상기 체액 샘플을 면역분석 시약과 반응시켜, 상기 샘플로부터 1 초과의 약리학적 매개변수의 값을 나타내는 검출 가능한 신호가 산출되도록 하는 단계, 및
e) 상기 체액 샘플로부터 생성된 검출 가능한 신호를 검출하는 단계
를 포함하는 방법. - 제31항에 있어서, 피험체에게 전송된 무선 신호에 의해 지시된 시간 간격으로 상기 단계들을 반복하는 것을 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 시험 동물에서 약리학적 매개변수를 평가하는 데 유용한 약리학적 데이터를 얻는 방법으로서,
a) 하나 이상의 샘플 수집 유닛 및 분석 조립체를 포함하는 유체 장치를 제공하는 단계,
b) 생물학적 유체 샘플을 상기 분석 조립체 내에 포함된 반응물과 반응시켜, 약리학적 매개변수를 나타내는, 상기 샘플 중에 초기에 수집된 피분석물로부터 생성된 검출 가능한 신호가 산출되도록 하는 단계,
c) 상기 검출 가능한 신호를 검출하는 단계, 및
d) 동일한 시험 동물로부터의 제2의 생물학적 유체 샘플로 반응 및 검출 단계를 반복하는 단계로서, 상기 동물은 마취되지 않은 것인 단계
를 포함하는 방법. - 제34항에 있어서, 상기 유체 장치는 상기 샘플 수집 유닛, 상기 분석 조립체, 또는 이들 둘 다와 유체 연통하는 복수개의 채널을 포함하는 것인 방법.
