Be it known that I, CHARLES J. BARNEY, of Edgartowm in the, county-of Dukes, and State of Massa chusetts, have invented a new and improved Bag Holder; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full,

clear, and exact description thereof, which, will enable those skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming paflt of this specificatiomin which- Figure 1- is a vertical central. section of my invention, taken in the line a: :'v, .fig.' 2.- Figure 2, a plan or top view of the same. Similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts.

This invention relates to a new and improved device for holding bags while the same are being filled; andl it consists in the employment or use of a hopper fitted in a platform supported by a frame, and arranged in the manner substantially as hereinafter fully shown and described, whereby bags may be filled with the greatest facility by a single individual.
