It has been found that by taking the solution described herein gastric ulcers disappear in two or three days.

  • a dry pharmaceutical composition by evaporating the water from the liquid solution or by freeze-drying the liquid solution.
  • the dry pharmaceutical composition may advantageously be formed into pills for easy storage and shipment. The pills could then be taken orally on the same schedule as when persons drink the liquid solution.

He took Solution A for three or four days. He took no other medicine while he was taking Solution A. Approximately ten days after being diagnosed with gastric ulcers (and approximately six or seven days after finishing taking Solution A) J. went back to his medical doctor, who told him that his ulcers were healed.
  • Solution B A solution (Solution B) was made by boiling encina bark in water. There were approximately 250 grams of bark and 2 liters of water. The mixture was boiled for approximately 25 minutes.

He took Solution C for three days. He took no other medicine while he was taking Solution C. Approximately 15 days after beginning to take Solution C, B. went back to his medical doctor, who told B. that his ulcers were healed.
  • the inventor has used dry powder obtained by evaporating away the water from the solution described herein made with encina bark to heal skin abrasions.
  • the solution which was given to people in Louisiana was made only from bark from an encina tree. At other times the inventor has given people a solution made only with carob bark, or only from encina tree bark, or with a mixture of the two barks. The inventor has heretofore never revealed the contents of the solution to someone who was not bound to keep it confidential.

Abstract

Une composition pharmaceutique conçue pour traiter les ulcères est fabriquée à partir de l'écorce du caroubier (Ceratonia siliqua) ou du chêne vert (Quercus ilex), ou du mélange des deux. On produit une solution en faisant bouillir de préférence 250 grammes de l'écorce soit de l'un des deux arbres, soit des deux, dans deux litres d'eau pendant 25 minutes, puis on filtre la solution et on la laisse refroidir. On administre par voie orale à un patient souffrant d'un ulcère 150 millilitres de la solution refroidie, de préférence trois fois par jour pendant deux ou trois jours.
