Definitions
- the present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions for and methods of relieving gastric ulcers.
- the present invention is a pharmaceutical composition which can relieve the suffering of people who have gastric ulcers.
- the pharmaceutical composition of the present invention is made from the bark of the carob tree, the encina tree, or from bark of both trees mixed together.
- the pharmaceutical composition of the present invention preferably consists essentially of a solution made by boiling a mixture consisting essentially of water and the bark of either tree or both trees.
- a solution is made by boiling preferably 250 grams of the bark of either tree or both trees in two liters of water for 25 minutes, then straining the solution and letting it cool.
- An effective amount (preferably 150 milliliters) of the solution is orally administered to a person in need of treatment (i.e., an effective amount is drunk by a sufferer of gastric ulcers) preferably three times per day for two or three days.
- the pharmaceutical composition of the present invention is made from the bark of the carob tree (Ceratonia siligua. found in eastern Mediterranean countries, Asia Minor, AMD, and Arabia) or the encina tree (an evergreen oak, Quercus ilex, found in Spain, North Africa, and Lebanon) (the bark of other similar trees may also work) .
- the bark of both trees may be mixed before making the solution.
- a solution is made by boiling preferably 250 grams of the bark of either tree or both trees in two liters of water for 25 minutes, then straining the solution and letting it cool. Other proportions of bark to water may be used, but the 250 gram to two liter proportion has been found to be effective and is preferred.
- 150 milliliters of the cooled solution is taken orally by a sufferer of gastric ulcers preferably three times per day (preferably at 9:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. and preferably at least 15 minutes before eating) for two or three consecutive days. It has been found that by taking the solution described herein gastric ulcers disappear in two or three days.
- the liquid solution can be stored without harm for several days under refrigeration.
- a dry pharmaceutical composition by evaporating the water from the liquid solution or by freeze-drying the liquid solution.
- the dry pharmaceutical composition may advantageously be formed into pills for easy storage and shipment. The pills could then be taken orally on the same schedule as when persons drink the liquid solution.
- Any suitable base can be used to form the pills, or the pills can be made by placing the powder in capsules.
- stomach ulcer refers to a necrotic lesion of the stomach or duodenum.
- the pharmaceutical composition described herein also relieves gastritis, stomach gas and is believed by the inventor to coat the stomach and to relieve ulcers of the mouth.
- a spoon dipped into the solution when it is hot and a warm spoon dipped into cold solution) becomes coated with a film.
- the inventor also believes that the pharmaceutical composition of the present invention may cure cancer.
- Solution A was made by boiling a mixture of carob bark and encina bark, with approximately equal amounts of bark from each tree, in water. There were approximately 250 grams of bark and 2 liters of water. The mixture was boiled for approximately 25 minutes. The liquid was then strained and allowed to cool.
- J. was diagnosed with gastric ulcers by a medical doctor in Europe. J. then began taking 150 ml of Solution A three times daily, each time about 15 minutes before eating. He took Solution A for three or four days. He took no other medicine while he was taking Solution A. Approximately ten days after being diagnosed with gastric ulcers (and approximately six or seven days after finishing taking Solution A) J. went back to his medical doctor, who told him that his ulcers were healed.
- Solution B A solution (Solution B) was made by boiling encina bark in water. There were approximately 250 grams of bark and 2 liters of water. The mixture was boiled for approximately 25 minutes.
- the liquid was then strained and allowed to cool.
- S. was diagnosed with gastric ulcers by a medical doctor in the United States. Four days later, S. began taking 150 ml of Solution B three times daily (at 9:00 am, 2:00 p , and 7:00 pm) .
- B. was diagnosed with gastric ulcers by a medical doctor in the United States. Three months later, B. began taking 150 ml of Solution C three times daily (at 9:00 am, 2:00 pm, and 7:00 pm) . He took Solution C for three days. He took no other medicine while he was taking Solution C. Approximately 15 days after beginning to take Solution C, B. went back to his medical doctor, who told B. that his ulcers were healed.
- the inventor has used dry powder obtained by evaporating away the water from the solution described herein made with encina bark to heal skin abrasions.
- the solution which was given to people in Louisiana was made only from bark from an encina tree. At other times the inventor has given people a solution made only with carob bark, or only from encina tree bark, or with a mixture of the two barks. The inventor has heretofore never revealed the contents of the solution to someone who was not bound to keep it confidential.
