Abstract

Ensemble (10) de compactage destiné à être utilisé en combinaison avec un élément de guidage (11), qui permet d'acheminer des déchets et matériaux analogues le long de l'élément de guidage (11) dans un conteneur (12) et de les compacter dans ledit conteneur (12). L'ensemble (10) de compactage comporte un dispositif d'entraînement primaire (31) conçu pour entraîner la face de travail (16, 17) d'une pale (15) le long de l'élément de guidage (11), ainsi qu'un dispositif d'entraînement secondaire (19) conçu pour apporter une puissance d'entraînement supplémentaire à la face de travail (16, 17) de la pale sur au moins une partie de sa course. La structure comporte un système permettant de faire correspondre la puissance fournie par une source de puissance à la puissance requise par un ou plusieurs éléments consommant de la puissance de manière cyclique sur au moins la plupart de leurs cycles opératoires la plupart du temps. Ledit système comporte au moins deux éléments consommant de la puissance qui agissent pour effectuer une tâche commune. L'un des éléments (31) est réglé pour fournir une faible puissance sur l'intégralité d'un cycle opératoire, l'autre élément (19) est conçu pour fournir une puissance plus élevée, mais seulement sur une partie du cycle opératoire, la demande maximale de puissance pour le système tout entier pouvant être limitée grâce au réglage du moment où l'autre élément (19) se met en marche et de la vitesse à laquelle ledit autre élément (19) fonctionne.
