Abstract
Description
Selbstklebendes Pflaster zur Abgabe von Wirkstoff an die Umgebung eines Trägers Self-adhesive plaster for delivering active substance to the environment of a wearer
The invention relates to a self-adhesive plaster for delivering active substance by evaporation to the environment of a carrier.
The term “active substance” is to be understood in the broadest sense to mean all substances which, in the vapor phase, act as aerosols in the ambient air against the carrier of the plaster or other organisms, for example substances having a therapeutic or psychotherapeutic effect, odorous substances, bactericides, Kepellents, breath-relieving, snuff-reducing substances etc. In order to release fragrances or active substances directly from the skin, it is known to apply solutions and in particular alcoholic solutions to the skin. This is particularly common in the area of perfumes, etc.; Kepellents are also applied to the skin in this form and evaporate from there into the ambient air.
Dispensing directly from the surface of the skin to the environment has the disadvantage that the skin can be exposed to irritation in some cases and can have an allergic reaction, although the concentration of the active ingredients must be relatively low because of possible damaging effects on the skin.
Skin-damaging active ingredients are completely ruled out for one application. On the other hand, it may be desirable to release certain substances very intensively into the environment from a relatively small surface. This applies, for example, to fragrances, and occasionally also to Kepellents, as well as expectorant, atmungβerleich- ternde agents and possibly also for insect control agent ¬ and the like.
Starting from the aforementioned prior art, the invention is based on the object of specifying a self-adhesive plaster for delivering active ingredient by evaporation to the environment of a carrier, which avoids the disadvantages and technical limits of the prior art and without arousing skin irritation in a relative manner small adhesion or release surface sufficiently intensive discharge of irk W ¬ material allows to the immediate ambient atmosphere of the carrier.
The object is achieved according to the invention by a structure of the plaster according to claim 1. For a "reverse dermal system" is applied to the skin practically as both as a membrane patch, on the other hand as ¬ matrix patch prior art. D abei ver ¬ prevents the impermeable for active ingredient carrier layer, he d on the skin-facing side a Selbεtklebeschicht un d on the skin distal side of one or more active ingredient reεervoire are associated with skin irritation. A nderer ¬ hand, enables the one or more drug reservoirs a very high loading of active ingredient for a very intense A BGA b e. As a result, separation of the adhesive layer and active substance reservoir, it is possible, a relatively large W irk ¬ molar entered. The freedom of design is also relatively unlimited.
Furthermore, plaster of the invention, similar to be ¬ known membrane patches to be designed for the controlled release of active substance and also have a greater thickness and consequently absorb greater amounts of the active ingredient. The application of the plaster is possible without problems, an active substance plaster being applied to the skin and the protective layer being removed, after which the plaster releases active substances into the environment over a longer period of time.
Skin irritation or skin damage is avoided and the effect of kepellents, perfumes etc. is fully retained. In connection with perfumes and similar fragrances, the properties of the plaster can be developed in the context of striking cosmetics, analogous to earlier beauty patches.
Beispiel:Example:
The plaster according to the invention comprises, in the layer structure, a carrier film (1) with at least one adhesive layer (2) on the side facing the skin and with at least one or more Keservoir layers (3 or 4) on the side facing away from the skin, in which there is a preparation containing the active ingredient is located, which is initially covered with a protective layer (5) until application. Both the carrier film (1) and the protective layer (5) consist of a material that is impermeable to the active ingredient. A membrane (6) controlling the release of the active ingredient can be arranged between a reservoir (3 or 4) and the protective layer (5). The adhesive layer (2) is initially covered with a protective film as a covering layer (7).
(4) aufliegende Steuermembran (6) zeitlich gesteuert.During use, the cover layer (7) is first removed from the adhesive layer (2) to be turned towards the skin and the plaster is applied to the substrate, for example the skin. The protective film (5) is then pulled off the plaster, so that the reservoir layer (3) or (4) can release active substance to the surroundings of the substrate. Occasionally the dispensing is timed by a control membrane (6) resting on the reservoir slides (3) or (4).
Preferred active ingredients are those which have a sufficiently high vapor pressure so that they can penetrate the control membrane (6) in a targeted manner.
