Abstract

L'invention concerne un outil de fraisage, notamment pour réaliser des chanfreins avec des angles différents, comportant un corps de base (10) portant dans un logement (15) une plaquette de coupe (40) fixée sur un porte-plaquette (30). Cette plaquette de coupe présente au moins deux arêtes de coupe (42a, 42b) qui se rencontrent par paire au niveau d'un point d'intersection respectif, la plaquette de coupe étant réglable pour réaliser différents angles de chanfrein (18). Des chanfreins disposés différemment peuvent être réalisés avec un outil de fraisage sans modifications si le porte-plaquette maintient le point d'intersection des arêtes de coupe à l'extérieur du logement, la première arête de coupe, en tant que tranchant principal pour réaliser un premier angle de chanfrein, et la deuxième arête de coupe, en tant qu'autre tranchant principal pour réaliser un deuxième angle de chanfrein, étant libérées du logement.
