Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de bus pour un réseau de communication numérique, comportant un bus (1) qui comprend plusieurs groupes de lignes servant à transmettre des signaux numériques, plusieurs interfaces pour raccorder des unités d'accès au bus, et au moins une unité de commande (8) pour commander la transmission des signaux entre l'unité de commande (8) et des unités d'accès raccordées, ou entre des unités d'accès raccordées (8, 9). Chaque interface est conçue aussi bien pour le raccordement d'une unité d'accès ST (3) transmettant des données en mode synchrone que pour le raccordement d'une unité d'accès AT (2) transmettant des données en mode asynchrone. Il est prévu un premier groupe de lignes (13) pour la transmission de données à l'intérieur de trames pulsées de longueur fixe, composées de tranches de temps. Les trames pulsées sont divisées chacune en un premier conteneur pour la transmission de données en mode synchrone et un deuxième conteneur pour la transmission de données en mode asynchrone.
