Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil de traitement d'eau destiné au traitement des eaux usées (2), notamment de matières sanitaires, sur un navire de mer par exemple un bateau de croisière. L'appareil comprend un filtre (10) se présentant sous la forme d'une unité de bioréacteur à membrane ou MBR (11) immergée à panneaux plats présentant une grosseur de pores efficace moyenne inférieure à 0,1 micron (100 nannomètres) et une unité d'ionisation (12) comprenant des électrodes (48, 50), l'unité (12) faisant office de source d'ions métalliques. Les électrodes (48, 50) sont composées d'un alliage d'argent, de cuivre et de zinc. Lors de l'utilisation, les eaux usées (2) s'écoulent à travers le filtre (10) et ensuite l'unité d'ionisation (12), de manière que les eaux usées soient filtrées et ensuite mises à infuser avec des ions métalliques. La concentration d'ions dans l'effluent d'eau se trouve à une concentration efficace pour désinfecter les eaux usées (2) et permet d'obtenir une action de désinfection résiduelle, les ions métalliques procurant des effets biocides et/ou fongicides. L'appareil peut être rattraper sur un bateau à l'aide d'un kit de conversion.
