Abstract

Deux plateaux oscillants (15,16) pilotent les pistons (30,31,32). Les plateaux oscillants (15,16) sont calés d'un angle α tel que le piston (30) côté échappement est toujours en avance sur le piston (31) côté transfert, d'où une asymétrie au diagramme Transfert/Echappement. Un compresseur voit son cylindre (4) calé d'un angle β tel que son piston (32) se trouvant proche de son point mort haut, les lumières de transfert du cylindre moteur (1) viendront tout juste d'être fermées par le piston (31), d'où un soufflage continu des gaz frais pendant toute la phase de transfert. Le balayage des gaz est optimisé, le moteur a un bon rendement sur une grande plage de vitesse de rotation. sous condition, il ne brûle pas d'huile, il est de complexité moyenne, léger et compact. Le moteur peut convenir à la motorisation qui va du modélisme aux véhicules légers.
