Abstract

The invention relates to a domestic appliance, especially a refrigeration appliance comprising a door having an outer wall (1) and an inner wall (34) that are interconnected along longitudinal edges, and at least one closing element (2, 3; 2') which is connected to respective transverse edges of the outer wall (1) and the inner wall (34). The invention is characterized in that the outer wall (1) carries a ledge (8) bent towards the inner wall (34) along at least one of the transverse edges and that the closing element (2; 2') has a groove (13) open toward the exterior of the door, the ledge (8) engaging with said groove.
