Abstract

【課題】軽量・コンパクト化を図ると共に、組立作業性を向上させて低コスト化を図った回転速度検出装置付き車輪用軸受装置を提供する。 【解決手段】センサホルダ10が、回転速度センサ14が包埋された合成樹脂製の保持部12と、外方部材5の端部に外嵌される円筒状の嵌合部11aと、これから径方向内方に延び、外方部材5の端面に密着される鍔部11bと、さらに径方向内方に延びる底部11cとからなるカバー11を備え、インナー側のシール9が、スリンガ15と、これに対向して外方部材5に装着され、断面略L字状に形成された環状のシール板17とからなり、このシール板17の端面と磁気エンコーダ16の端面が略面一に設定されると共に、外側継手部材22の肩部23の外径D1が内輪2の外径D2よりも小径に設定され、かつ外方部材5のインナー側の端面5cと内輪2の端面2bが略面一に設定されている。
