Overall: It's wonderful, I can play, make tutorial videos, crafts, drawing and I get rewarded for it. I love it.

Pros: Hive is the social media of the future, I love spending time here every day and socializing with people, and you can earn cryptocurrency for it.

Cons: I don't think there's anything bad about it, but it can take a while to make friends with people like in real life.

Overall: I think Hive is a 9.5 out of 10 social media platform. I would like every user to experience it. If you use Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, you can easily adapt here.

Pros: I love the community on hive. Very different content to over classical social media platforms.

Pros: At base, a social network, where people, post, comment, and share ideas. It developed into a building platform for social network apps, like blogging, video, short messages. Further, it has a lot of applications, like games, being a transaction free blockchain, highly scalable.

Cons: The onboarding might be not the most user-friendly.

Overall: For me, it brought new friends, a better understanding of crypto and Web3 in general. It also shows, that without technical skills, crypto can be earned.

Pros: Nothing new as it's just a poor-quality UI copy of Steemit. User experience is very negative compared to blurt or Steemit.

Cons: No freedom of speech.
Whales decide what others should do or else users will get downvotes.
Bad attitudes.

Overall: Very disappointing.

Pros: Multiple front ends.
Focused communities.

Cons: Besides the technical hurdles to entry that exist with all blockchains, there are zero cons for HIVE.

Overall: HIVE has become a second home to me over the past four years. I've tried most of the other platforms in the top five and they simply don't compare to HIVE. Don't let the ratings fool you! HIVE is #1.

Pros: There is never a shortage of things to do and new people to meet on Hive. So much art and creative writing! There are a loooot of games and websites connected to Hive: Splinterlands, Ragnarok, 3Spk, Dcity, Hashkings, Ecency, Inji, Liketu, ++++ many more. Friendly people will help you get started and show you the ropes if you need to.

Cons: The only thing that they ask of you is to be honest and not cheat or steal other people's work. The bad reviews are from people who got caught! LOL

Some games and websites are easier to use than others.

Overall: I learned a lot and love it! I feel I joined a real community and made meaningful connections and friends. Def recommend!

Pros: There are a group of users who are very passionate about the platform. They are very strong minded and the reason that Hive exists.

Cons: These strong minded people don’t seem to realise how damaging their downvotes are to the platform’s growth. They’re so blinded by their belief that downvotes are good and an important part of the system.

They’re very quick to blacklist users with little to no justification at which point you’re bullied into leaving. Which suits the small cartel in charge as they continue to dominate the reward pool.

This is a huge deterrent to investors as anybody who dares to earn rewards has them wiped out.

Overall: Until the small core of users that are running the platform and insist upon downvoting the successful users that they don’t know leave, this platform is without doubt one to avoid and your time will be better spent on one of the better chains.

Pros: No shadow banning or algorithmic censorship. There is a wide variety of content, if you can find it on the feeds that are heavily soft censored by the large account stake holders.

Cons: Financial censorship is out of control, the largest share holders have a very present left wing bias and will zero your posts, preventing you from sharing your content with people who do not have an account.

Overall: It was lackluster due to liberal bias being practice on the most extreme on chain levels. There is also very little tolerance for questioning the covid-19 narrative. If you do not virtue signal to the "whales' you will not be welcomed.

Pros: All of the anger and hatred is contained within Hive which allows Blurt and Steemit to foster a more positive environment.

Cons: It's incredible how angry and hate-filled Hive users are.

Even users who claim to have Hive's interests at heart DOWNVOTE THEIR OWN FRIENDS if they think that their posts are earning too much.

When "friends" downvote you for saying that you're taking a break (which could easily have been due to poor mental health), it provides the perfect example for what they're capable of when they're not your friends.

Overall: My time with Hive started well - my articles were well received, well supported and because of this, I promoted Hive to my followers on other platforms who subsequently migrated to Hive.

As with many others, this changed in an instant. One of my posts received a big downvote which wiped out all of my rewards. I hoped it was a one-off and having heard that people who complain about downvotes get even more downvotes, I kept quiet.

My next post also got downvoted so I asked why and received no response. As expected, my next (and final) post was downvoted into oblivion.

This is a platform filled with disgusting, hate fuelled idiots. As other reviewers have said, it's toxic.

This shouldn't have come as a surprise given that Hive was created through anger and hate following their nemesis (Justin Sun) buying a large stake in Steemit.

If you decide to ignore this advice and register anyway, enjoy it whilst you can and avoid forming any emotional ties.

Pros: Love the various communities with their own tokens and NFT minting.
The variety of games is already impressive and growing rapidly
Not having a central authority helps me feel safe in my dealings - no risk of being banned from the chain

Cons: Support can be difficult without a central authority - it's up to whatever devs and users offer to help.

Overall: Great way to interact with others in a decentralized way and find different niche communities while also finding access to crypto games. Can't recommend Hive enough.

Pros: It's a good opportunity of earning by sharing blog.
There are a number of community with specialisation where anyone can find their required category of content sharing. The range of topic according to community is wide.

Cons: - it is controlled by the Whales with their downloading power. You cannot complain to any authority when you will get downvote from whales intentionally. They will assembly tell you that they are not agree with the post reward. Just laughing stock.
- Some of the communities are not in good position so it's difficult for the users who want to share their customised content based on strong zone in those communities as there is less support in those communities.

Overall: I worked here for more than a year and my reputation is about 73. My reputation is indicating my contribution in the platform but I quit because of intentional downvote by the whale and there is no such a platform of complaining for such kind of injustice behaviour of the power holder whales. I know many of the quality bloggers left hive because of such kind of injustice and suppressive attitude of the power holder. They are just mockering about decentralization.

Pros: I have met some great friends from every continent on Hive talking sport, music, investments, food and everything you can imagine in between. So long as you are willing to take the time to engage with other users on the platform and read their posts and interact with them, you will build up a group of friends with common interests.

It is one of the only places on line, where I almost never come across trolls or people being disrespectful to each other and you can earn Hive and HBD just by posting about things that interest you. In future years people will look back on the early adapters as very lucky indeed and I believe it is still very early in Web 3.0

Cons: It can be a little tough starting out, but if you are engaging and create good and original well thought out content, you will build up a following and can do very well on the platform.

Overall: It's been very positive, my only regret is that I stopped using it for 1 year, as work got very busy and I stopped posting. That slowed my progress down a bit, but when I came back, my old blockchain friends remembered me and I made a lot more since.

If you have not checked out Hive yet, get on it, you won't regret it.

Pros: HIVE is Decentralized, fast and has a large community. You can earn money by publishing the subject of your interest.

Cons: Platform although excellent, is not very intuitive, you have to research a lot, who starts on the platform without help from someone suffers a little to learn the basics.

Overall: It's something innovative, I never thought that publishing what I like would generate a financial return.

Pros: It was a great platform till it got completely taken over by a small circle of whales who completely police it. They hate being downvoted themselves and moan about it incessantly but love doing it to others for any reason from you earning too much, having an opinion different to them, defending someone else getting downvoted etc etc.

I don’t have much posItive to say.

Cons: This platform is rampant with abuse and from those that own the majority of stake so it’s impossible to compete. It’s more centralised than fb you’ll only do well here if you keep your head down and have no opinion at all or you make sure your votes never get decent. As then you’ll become a target.

Overall: Avoid this platform at all costs. Most the negative reviews on blurt are from these hive users who never logged onto blurt and most the positive hive ones are paid for by people giving money for votes. Please be aware this site is toxic.

Pros: Decentralized with unique opportunities for users, easy access and interaction. Monetized by rewarding the community well.

Cons: It needs greater visibility of the world at large, few people know it and know how good it is.

Overall: The best, without a doubt, needs to be well publicized, attracting the more people the better to benefit from this blockchain.

Pros: Prior to the frenzy about 'Metaverse', Hive gave a true feeling of what it Supposed to be, by having everyone from every part of the world come together in its Blockchain.

Content creation hasn't been so appreciated and rewarded elsewhere as much as it is on Hive Blockchain.

Whether you're a gamer, musician, storyteller, artist, programmer, farmer, crypto trader, all anything else, Hive has so much space for your growth.

The friends and interactions one gets from the Hive community can not be traded for anything. A very common saying about the blockchain is that "you'll come for the money but stay for the community".

Cons: I would have said it's a perfect Blockchain, but save for the delay in waiting 3.5days when converting between HBD to Hive and vice versa internally by the blockchain.

Overall: Awesome is the word. My entire life has improved since I embraced the Hive Blockchain. It was my first entrance to cryptocurrency back in the days and I'm glad to have learnt a lot and met so many Cool people through it.

Pros: Usable, running for over 2 years, great communities, and good to earn something also with every post and also upvoting.

Cons: Not too many users yet, can be a lot to learn at first to understand all.

Overall: Been using it for years and so far loving every day reading new posts on Hive. Sometimes post myself and love the feedback of the community.

Overall: The most great social blockchain, has managed to save my life in many ways, but most importantly: emotionally. I think I would have ended up in insanity if it had not come into my life.
