What do you like best about Nifty?
1. It’s easy to set up and use.
2. Support is super responsive and helpful.
3. The Docs feature is the best I’ve come across. Compared to Asana, Nifty Docs are far superior—you can embed iframes, link tasks to docs, and even create tasks within docs.
4. The ability to create either Nifty Docs or Google Docs adds flexibility for different project types.
5. Guest access and permissions are great—easy to set up and use.
6. Custom task fields, including currency and formula fields, make budget tracking seamless.
7. The iOS app is well-designed and user-friendly.
8. The timeline/roadmap feature includes task dependencies and project baselines, essential PM tools that other solutions often reserve for higher-priced plans.
9. You can comment on uploaded files, whgich is like a basic file proofing feature. As a wish list, it would be great to be able to pin the comment/annotate the file location so the comment is associated with an area or part of the file, although in understand that users wishes probably take a lot to implement technically and companies have far more important things to be working on. What do you dislike about Nifty?
1. It’s not so much a dislike as a gripe—Forms are an additional cost on top of the plan pricing. Personally, I believe intake forms should be included in the business plan, as they are with platforms like Airtable, Asana, and Teamwork. While there may be reasons for this pricing model, I don’t fully understand why it’s an extra charge. There are certainly workarounds to avoid this cost, especially when the form is only needed to initiate a process. Since we use this feature infrequently, the added expense isn’t justified for our use case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
