What do you like best about ActBlue?

ActBlue allows you to reach donors with easily customizable forms and fast setup, and their administrative fee of 3.9% is low compared to many other donor platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActBlue?

ActBlue does not provide chat support or total donations for a given period for a donor. In addition, donors must log into their accounts to get a record of their yearly contributions, or I have to do that manually for my organization's donors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ActBlue?

As an individual, I love that I can use the platform to easily give small-dollar donations to any progressive politician or organization out there, and it feels great doing so to help. I am making a difference in my day-to-day, whether that entails contributing one-time or monthly. In the nonprofit space, I also like to use the platform to watch our fundraising efforts and produce quarterly reports based on ActBlue's metrics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActBlue?

I don't particularly appreciate that other companies can get a hold of my information once I donate to their cause or candidate. It's a bit annoying and unexpected at first, but you either get used to it or can unsubscribe from their list. I also wish we could merge multiple accounts without first creating a customer support ticket. I hope to see that ActBlue makes a user-friendly, mobile application for their donors and clients to use one day (without hassle). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ActBlue?

ActBlue has an open and uncluttered interface. Easy to get around and find what you need. Changes and across-the-board updates are made clear. Up to the second updates are also very helpful and key. The testing page is very intuitive, and I like that you can run all kinds of tests, from the copy to the smart boost. Automatic traffic allocation is also great! It is also nice to constantly see the flow of money coming in on the main page, as well as the top-performing slugs from a certain day. That way, I can check up on my most recent emails at a glance. What do you dislike about ActBlue?

When searching for a page on the contribution forms, you can't hit enter to search. Small but can be annoying. Additionally, donation asks and the spacing throughout get tweaked or messed up when saving/publishing/checking the page. The title part of a page could also be easier to edit and change individually without changing the entire styling of the background. It would also be great to have a page to view all active tests instead of having to go to each page and check the results of a test that way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ActBlue?

I like that for the most part ActBlue is easy to navigate, only requires one log in no matter how many campaigns/pacs you work with, and has solid customer service Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActBlue?

The updates they made to their custom branding the other year. The organization of things and the naming conventions don't make sense and the CSS classes are not descriptive and hard to override. I'd like to be able to customize things further. I understand wanting to make it easier for people not proficient in CSS and HTML to style their pages but they've made the product less robust and harder to use in many ways.

I also wish they had a better way to view ongoing tests. There should be a dashboard to view all active tests instead of having to click through multiple pages Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ActBlue?

I love all the data organized and the user-friendly layout that makes it easy for beginners to figure out. It's aesthetically pleasing while also being good at displaying the data that campaigns and groups need to see for analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I honestly can't speak to anything that I disliked about Act Blue. It's great, and I haven't used other fundraising software, so I can't speak to additional features they may have that ActBlue doesn't. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ActBlue?

ActBlue is something that we've used to process our donations for about a year now, and they are so, so helpful. Anytime I need to send them an email, even if it's the dumbest question, they respond in under an hour and with all the information that I could need. Their website is easy to use and very streamlined. I really appreciate the product and it makes my job very easy indeed. Can't recommend them highly enough! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActBlue?

Not too much. Sometimes when I'm trying to find a specific donation, I think it would be helpful to have a more flexible "Search Contributions". For example, when someone only includes one last name when reaching out to us, it can be hard to find them if they signed up on ActBlue with two last names. Other than that, it's great! What do you like best about ActBlue?

My experience with ActBlue over the years is primarily in the field of digital/fundraising. I particularly found it helpful for quickly creating landing pages/forms when we needed to turn around content quickly. They are also very good at developing content that is mobile-friendly, which greatly increases conversion rates. They also provide A/B tools which are great for testing emails. What do you dislike about ActBlue?

There were a few times when ActBlue customer service/communication could have been better over the years, particularly when the service was down or donors had trouble with their contributions (and I'd need ActBlue to clear up the confusion). I do believe that the organizations has been doing a better job of improving support communication (and pledging to resolve problems on their end) over the years.
