"Powerful SEO Tool With Unmatched Backlink Data"
What do you like best about Ahrefs?

Ahrefs has the most comprehensive backlink database I’ve used. The Site Explorer gives deep insights into competitors’ link profiles, organic keywords, and traffic estimations. I also like the Content Explorer, which helps me discover trending topics and identify link-building opportunities. The UI is clean, and the data feels more accurate compared to many other SEO tools. This is easy to use tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ahrefs?

The pricing is quite high for freelancers or small businesses, and many features are locked behind higher plans. The learning curve can also be steep for beginners, as the platform is very data-heavy. Reporting could be more customizable for client deliverables. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ahrefs is a powerhouse for SEO insights and competitor analysis"
What do you like best about Ahrefs?

Ahrefs gives really detailed information about what’s working for your website and your competitors. It’s great for finding good keywords, seeing who is linking to your site, and getting ideas for content. I really like the Site Explorer, which shows you what pages are getting the most traffic and links. The keyword tool is also super helpful for planning what to write about.

The dashboard is easy to use and fast. Plus, they have really helpful videos and blog posts to teach you how to use everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ahrefs?

Sometimes the data feels a little behind, especially when tracking backlinks or keyword rankings. It doesn’t always update in real-time, which can make it harder to see quick changes. Also, the tool can feel overwhelming at first because there are so many features and graphs. If you’re new to SEO, there’s a bit of a learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An essential and ultra-comprehensive SEO tool"
What do you like best about Ahrefs?

What I particularly appreciate about Ahrefs is the power of its semantic analyses (matching term). As soon as I build an SEO campaign or need to analyze a site or a keyword, it's the first SEO tool I open. It allows me to quickly identify high-potential keywords, analyze my competitors' strategies, and spot high-impact content opportunities. The interface is clear, and even though the platform is very rich, it's easy to navigate. I especially use the Site Explorer tool a lot, the Content Gap for SEO comparisons, and the Rank Tracker to monitor my positions. The Site Audit tool also helps me maintain good technical health on my sites and quickly analyze variations between two robot crawls. In short, it has become a pillar in my SEO strategy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ahrefs?

The only real weakness in my opinion is the pricing, which remains high if you are a freelancer or a small business. The limitations on crawl volume or real-time data updates can also be frustrating on the initial plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A powerhouse SEO tool that delivers actionable insights with precision"
What do you like best about Ahrefs?

Ahrefs stands out for its unparalleled depth in backlink analysis and keyword research. The interface is intuitive, yet packed with advanced features that cater to both beginners and seasoned SEO professionals. The Site Explorer and Content Gap tools are instrumental in competitive benchmarking, while Rank Tracker and Site Audit ensure ongoing performance optimization. The breadth of data coverage, including global SERPs and historical trends, allows us to build data-driven strategies with confidence and clarity Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ahrefs?

While the platform is robust, the pricing structure may be restrictive for smaller businesses or individual consultants. Real-time data refresh intervals are limited on certain plans, impacting agility for fast-paced campaigns. Additionally, while integrations exist, more native interoperability with Google Data Studio or advanced automation tools would significantly elevate reporting efficiency Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Effective SEO Tool with Stellar Support"
What do you like best about Ahrefs?

I appreciate Ahrefs for its user-friendly interface, making it easy to navigate and set up without difficulty. Its ability to solve problems by displaying AI search results and identifying long tail keywords helps reveal opportunities and declines for clients. I find the site explorer and detailed page performance features valuable for analyzing SEO metrics. I also value the responsive customer support, which provides quick, helpful answers and great training, ensuring I understand all the tools. I also am a huge fan of their support team. They are always quick to reply with answers to any questions I may have. They provide helpful training and in-depth instructions on their various features/tools, they are extremely attentive and detail-oriented, and they always get back to me within like a day or less with anything I need help with. Truly one of the best parts about working with Ahrefs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ahrefs?

I find that sometimes the data from Ahrefs is a little bit behind or not always 100% accurate. Though I understand that maintaining accurate data is challenging with search tracking, it can occasionally be a concern. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"My go-to SEO tool for over a decade. Powerful, intuitive, and reliable"
What do you like best about Ahrefs?

Ahrefs is hands down one of the best SEO tools I've used. The depth and accuracy of the data, particularly around backlinks and keyword rankings, are top-tier. The UI is clean, intuitive, and mostly easy to navigate, making it simple to get from insight to action quickly. I use it regularly for keyword research, competitor analysis, rank tracking, and content ideation. The UX strikes a great balance between being user-friendly and powerful, rare in enterprise-grade SEO tools. It’s the tool I trust most when I need reliable, up-to-date data fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ahrefs?

The biggest challenge is that there's so much data available that it can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming to pinpoint exactly what I need. It’s a good problem to have, but a little more customization or simplification in certain areas could help. What I will say, though, is that the support that comes with the Enterprise-level account helps significantly alleviate this; I love our rep.

Also, the crawling functionality isn't as strong as other specialized tools on the market so I tend to use a separate crawler when I need deeper technical audits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Best SEO Tool that Money can buy."
What do you like best about Ahrefs?

Ahrefs is a full service SEO tool, that my team has been using for over two years.

Ahrefs does not sugar coat anything. Yes, there are trainings and their content team will go above and beyond of teaching you SEO but this tool is designed for the SEO not for the Sales Manager who took over Marketing.

In the tool you can find everything from backlink data, to SERP positioning. You can also get a handy preview of the SERPs which is good to see.

They also have technical connections to Looker Studio which is great for those looking toc create dashboards.

Need I add, their sales team was also a blast to work with. At no point do I feel like another customer instead I feel like a member of the family. Tool was easy to set up and implementation only took a few days. (Thanks Rob and Haley!) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ahrefs?

Ahrefs is not a tool designed for those who need an extra hand. Ahrefs is an SEO specialist or Manager's dreamtool, and designed with SEOs in mind.

This means often times, it will skip on design and UX elements for excel like rows or important stats. An upgrade in the visual representation could go a long ways. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Ahrefs?

Ahrefs makes SEO research super easy. I really like how detailed the keyword and backlink data is! I've always relied on it to help me spot opportunities and understand what keywords are ranking, their search volume, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ahrefs?

The pricing can feel steep, especially for smaller teams, and some of the advanced features take time to learn. The interface can also feel a little overwhelming at first since there are so many tools packed into one platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful SEO Toolkit That Drives Real Results"
What do you like best about Ahrefs?

Ahrefs stands out for its comprehensive backlink analysis and keyword research tools. The Site Explorer offers deep insights into competitor strategies, while the Content Explorer is great for discovering trending content in any niche. I also appreciate the clear UI and regularly updated data. For agencies and marketers, the ability to track keyword movement, monitor backlinks, and audit websites at scale is incredibly helpful. It's an all-in-one SEO suite that simplifies complex tasks and helps you stay ahead of the competition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ahrefs?

The pricing can be steep for small businesses or freelancers, especially if you’re just starting out. Some useful features, like historical data or advanced reports, are locked behind higher-tier plans. Also, while the tool is feature-rich, it has a learning curve for beginners, particularly if you're unfamiliar with SEO terminology or data interpretation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
