The software is user friendly and highly specialized to non-profits. My organization uses this as our single source of truth for all things fundraising, constituents, prospect research, and more. I like that Blackbaud is intuitive and easy to use. I work for a school in the marketing team. Overall, I really like Raiser's Edge and do not have much to critique. However, I wish the software supported more integrations. I like that the system is very flexible and has so many features... I am always finding new ways to find new information about my constituents and members. I really love database view because it gives you the full "menu" of options... a little overwhelming at first, but once you learn how to navigate all the menus and the fields, it is a very powerful tool and necessary for effective fundraising. I really like how easy it is to track donor giving history, manage actions, and create dynamic lists for segmentation. The interface is clean and modern, making it accessible even for users who are new to fundraising software. With the move to unified view, everything is becoming more easily accessible instead of having staff members needing to log into database view. At the moment, the transition to a unified view has been progressing more slowly than we expected, with features being integrated gradually rather than all at once. Always coming up with new updates. I appreciate the ability to run multiple processes in multiple tabs simultaneously. It makes my work more efficient and allows me to easily share insights and information with colleagues. Easy to train other users in my organization. Integrates with a variety of add-ins. Some vital workflows are still missing from the RENXT view, making it so I have to switch back and forth between web view and database view fairly regularly. Blackbaud struggles to move everything from database view into web view. They build something out 90%, release it, and call it good, but miss transitioning the remaining 10% of features that users need to be successful. Blackbaud does release new innovations to the web view that are otherwise unavailable in database view, however. So, you win some but lose some. Hopefully they will successfully transition everything over to the web based platform in time. Customer support is also deteriorating over time as they plan to move all tech support to India, and to people that have never used the platform in their day to day lives. Raiser's Edge NXT is quite slow and lagging. I think it is a great platform so far, but it can often be so slow that I am discouraged from using it and switch to Database view. We also cannot use any membership features in it, and our org needs that.

I also find the gift entry apparatus in NXT to be lacking. I do nearly all of my gift work inside of Databse view still. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
