Donor Perfect has lots of features that nonprofits can make use of. It's a full CRM and donation platform, and syncs reasonably well with other platforms such as Constant Contact. We use it multiple times a week to enter donor interactions and offline donations. It's not hard to use, but it is not as user-friendly as other systems, such as FundraiseUp or Keela. DonorPerfect is an old system, creating forms is a chore that takes a long time and they don't look good without a significant amount of effort, embedding forms on a website also does not look very good which can impact a donors decision to give. There are a lot of workarounds and patchwork things in the system so it doesn't feel like one cohesive ecosystem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to enter data is easy. I like that you can use the search bar to enter just a small piece of information to find the records you are looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are too many places to enter data. To keep information consistent, all users should enter data the same way, and unless an organization makes strict guidelines for how they want the data entered, it can be very easily entered inconsistently. I also do not like the inability to link records as spouses and/or households. My Executive Director is very focused on relationship building, and not being able to tie records together to see complete giving for a household/couple and/or through trusts vs. personal giving can get tricky. There are also too many ways to pull reports and manipulate data. After 4 years of working with Donor Perfect, I'm becoming rather comfortable, but it has taken that long to build a lot of confidence with pulling/building reports to meet my organization's needs. DonorPerfect is easy to use once you start digging into it. It has a comprehensive donor profile section, and you can track just about everything. The actual FUNCTIONS are great, but the execution leaves something to be desired. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is a constant up/down cycle happening with the platform. I receive at least three emails a week that the system is experiencing issues, and that maintenance is happening.

The functions are good - but the execution and actual process to use the platform is old UI. Moves Management will not advance automatically, you cannot edit/move steps in a plan once it's created - you have to start over. You cannot add a donor to a moves management plan - you have to add them as a mass upload.

The onboarding process has gone as smooth as one would hope so far. I have also reached out for help through the online chat and was very happy with the quick response time and the knowledge of the person. They quickly resolved my issue. That experience was more helpful than our old company had been in all 30 years combined :-)

Donor Perfect is perfect for a no-frills way of storing donor information and tracking moves management. The reports are expansive and cover the major areas of interest and they also have an easy-to-use report builder tool to get exactly what you need. My main dislike about Donor Perfect is the dashboard feature. It is not exceptionally user friendly and it is difficult to customize. It would be super helpful as a way to report out to my board, but I don't think it's at a place to do that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't love that there are limitations to the Drag and Drop forms. I also don't like that our recurring donors can't update a credit card themselves - we have to call and follow up, which uses valuable staff time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our mid-size non-profit organization couldn't function without our daily use of DonorPerfect, and we've been happy with it for years. It is an intuitive system across the board. It covers all the basics, has helpful built-in donor reports and fields, and is customizable to the Nth degree. Their chat line team is always patient in solving problems. We currently use a mainstream payment platform that isn't automatically integrated with DonorPerfect, so we've had to build a custom API that has limitations. We're looking to switch to use an integrated partner for ease of use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The support has been outstanding at this stage of our journey. We started as a small organization with little experience using a system like this. Our previous system was not very effective, but DonorPerfect has been a significant improvement. We could have used more support during the data import process. Without a clear understanding of best practices or a reference point, we faced significant cleanup. It became overwhelming to the point where we hesitated to use the system at first. DonorPerfect has a Fairly easy Interface to use and understand, and it makes reporting overall easy using the report building tools. Processing of gifts is also an easy experience as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how there are a lot of webinars and articles to make the most and learn from DonorPerfect. I especially appreciate the chat support team when I have connected with them for various questions. I wish DonorPerfect could connect to Benevity and that it also had more options to connect seamlessly to other auction platforms like Auctria. I really disliked ReadySetAuction as it felt antiquated and not up to date and modern looking as DonorPerfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
