"Amazing"
What do you like best about Float?

The Schedule screen is intuitive and easy to use, making it simple to adjust and manage scheduling.

I use it daily to stay on top of my tasks and to see what my colleagues are working on.

Support is excellent—whenever I report a bug, it gets resolved quickly.

The API is clear, well-documented, and made integration straightforward.

It was especially helpful when we used it to import our master data during implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float?

For some custom integrations, having Webhooks would be a great addition and make real-time syncing even more powerful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Usability Shines, But Mobile Experience Needs Improvement"
What do you like best about Float?

I find Float's usability really good, making it a preferred choice for continuing its use. The ability to schedule and plan team projects gives visibility into future workloads, providing employees a clear understanding of upcoming tasks. Additionally, report generation is seamless compared to our previous vendor, simplifying our processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float?

I find a few features missing in Float that hinder my work efficiency. Notably, the inability to see how much of the budget has been burned and the lack of a comprehensive bird's eye view hamper project progress tracking. Additionally, the restricted access to copying only a week's worth of data, rather than a broader timespan like fifteen days, limits my flexibility in managing project timelines efficiently. Furthermore, the mobile view presents a significant challenge; it is cumbersome to use and not user-friendly for time logging, which forces me to resort to using the desktop version for timesheet entries. "Easy to use and understand with a minor pain"
What do you like best about Float?

An easy to use and view schedule for your work. The different colours for different types of work/their current status makes it really easy to quickly look at your schedule and determine what you're working on and for how long. The mobile app is amazing and makes it very easy to work out your work schedule on the go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float?

It's been a minor missing feature for a while now but the inability to quickly see a particular project's overview to see what other team members are working on it is annoying. It currently requires you to play around with the filter and look around on the schedule.

With some projects that have notes, it would be good to have a preview of what they are on the schedule page, which would also make it clear that the particular project has notes defined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Scheduling, But Needs Better Project Integration"
What do you like best about Float?

I find Float incredibly useful for coordinating schedules across departments, allowing me to see active statuses and dynamically change schedules easily. Its integration capabilities with our systems, simplicity in setting up, and quick filtering process for organizing office personnel are impressive. The calendar feature stands out with its user-friendly drag-and-drop functionality, reducing the hassle of manual formatting. These aspects not only streamline scheduling but also save time and resources effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float?

I don't really like how Float handles project integration, especially since not everything we do is project-based. The need to apply a 'work from home' status as a miscellaneous project feels awkward, and the method of displaying out-of-office statuses is not intuitive or clear. It would be better if these statuses could be visually highlighted more significantly, rather than just having a small marker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Time log process made easy, Resource Management is super easy"
What do you like best about Float?

Easy-to-use interface, Modern UI, Good user experience. Also, the feature Resource booking is something not available anywhere else and this is a super handful feature for the organisation like us who want to keep track of each resource and want to utilize the resource effectively. "The Ultimate Time Management Tool"
What do you like best about Float?

Float helps me plan my day. I add tasks to time slots and it’s easy to use. I get more done and still have time to rest. It’s great for time management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float?

One small problem I saw is when I try to change plan for one day, it change the whole month sometimes. It little annoying when I just want to fix one day only. If they fix this, then Float will be perfect. Still, it’s a very good app and I tell others to try it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent tool for resource management and time logging."
What do you like best about Float?

Float is super easy to use and didn’t take long to get the team onboard. The interface is clean and makes scheduling feel almost effortless—just drag, drop, and you’re done. We use it daily to plan out work and manage capacity across projects. It integrates nicely with Google Calendar, which helps keep everything in sync without extra effort. I also found their customer support to be responsive the one time we needed help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float?

I wish the reporting features were a bit more detailed in the basic plan. Sometimes I have to export data just to get a clear picture of workload trends. The mobile version also feels a bit clunky—fine for checking things, but not ideal for making updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Float is a super useful tool for project management and time tracking across the board"
What do you like best about Float?

Being able to divvy up time and reflect dedicated project time in people's calendars to better represent what their day looks like. I find myself checking Float often to see who has space to help me if I have too much on my plate, and vice versa. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float?

I'm not sure what the pricing structure is like at Float, but I've used alternate applications that were much cheaper that do similar work, plus unlike Asana it doesn't seem like there's a lot of user control if you aren't a manager applying time to someone's schedule. It feels like something that could integrate really well into other apps, like Asana, or the other way around Float has their own task tracking, that could be part of the overall time marker for project completion. "Essential tool for managing resources across all our projects"
What do you like best about Float?

Float has become an indispensable part of our daily workflow. We use it in all our projects to plan and allocate resources efficiently across the entire team. It’s extremely user-friendly, visually clear, and helps us avoid overbooking or scheduling conflicts. The drag-and-drop interface makes updates quick, and the ability to forecast availability has significantly improved our planning accuracy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float?

Although Float is a great platform overall, it would be even better if it offered more advanced reporting features and analytics dashboards natively, without needing third-party integrations. Also, it sometimes takes a bit longer to load when managing multiple teams or large-scale project portfolios. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"This application is very useful as it helps me to keep a track of my work and its easily noticeable."
What do you like best about Float?

"I like using Float because it's very easy to use and helps me track all my work efficiently. It gives me a clear view of how tasks are divided and what I’ve completed. I also find it really helpful to look back and see exactly what was done, when it was done, and how much work was involved. Adding entries is smooth and straightforward, which makes planning and updating tasks quick and hassle-free." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float?

I've been using Float for the past few months, and it has had a truly positive impact on the way I manage my work. From the start, the interface was intuitive and easy to navigate, which made getting started quick and stress-free. One of the most impressive aspects of this app is how effectively it helps me stay organized and focused.

The ability to track tasks, set deadlines, and collaborate with team members has significantly improved my productivity. I can easily see what needs to be done, when it’s due, and who’s responsible for what. This has eliminated a lot of confusion and helped our team stay aligned.
