"Light User of GCX"
What do you like best about GUIDEcx?

I am an integrations implementation consultant and what I found useful from GCX is that I can pop into any current project that I'm a part of to pick up and download files from the client. The portal is great to get clients involved before I have to reach out to them in advance. It allows them to interact with sending what I need way before so I can immediately start. Great product so far! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GUIDEcx?

The UI can use a little work as sometimes it can look overwhelming with the many tasks on the timeline. It would be nice t update that so that users can manage their workflow faster with less clicks! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"GuideCX slow"
What do you like best about GUIDEcx?

I love the Plan view, where I can have different view to check my project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GUIDEcx?

Sometimes GCX is too slow and takes a long time to resycn. Also it's so difficult to cut/paste content from the notes side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"GuideCX has made our jobs way easier to stay organized with onboarding tasks."
What do you like best about GUIDEcx?

It's visually easy to keep track of the tasks you need to handle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GUIDEcx?

Nothing, it's a great tool. It's a little annoying when it defaults to list view but it's easy to switch back to board view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Great Automated Tracker and Project Manager"
What do you like best about GUIDEcx?

Our team has used GuideCX for onboarding streamlining and assistance. It's been super useful to immediately push task reminders to customers and employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GUIDEcx?

I dislike that I'm unable to add videos into our automated emails and that there is limited capability to customize the emails to look more like our own companies branding rather than GuideCX. I think this can lead to confusion for our own clients on what company they are working with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"GCX if focused on what I do as an Implementation Engineer/Project Manager."
What do you like best about GUIDEcx?

Project templates and being able to include clients in the project while also keeping certain tasks and notes restricted to internal visibility.

I use GCX every day to manage 15+ integration projects at a time.

Custiner support has always been responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GUIDEcx?

The notes area could still be better. If I paste into a note, the formatting gets lost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Elan Maynez of GUIDEcx

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Brad! We love hearing that you're able to manage a large number of integration projects at one time!

As far as notes - which system do you keep notes in and then paste over?

PS You'll be excited to hear that some major work has just started on the notes side to improve that overall experience. I'll make sure that the team sees your feedback so we can incorporate it into the new experience!

"Great way to stay organized and on-track"
What do you like best about GUIDEcx?

It's great having a project and not worrying about missing a task or falling off schedule, the project with built-in templates and dates really help keep me and my co-workers on track! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GUIDEcx?

It's hard when the project stalls or gets put on hold and dates have to manually be pushed out on each task. It would be awesome if everything started from the 1st date and if the project gets put on hold it holds everything so no tasks send out prematurely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Harris Clarke of GUIDEcx

Juliet, thank you for your review. It's great hearing that GUIDEcx is helping keep you and your co-workers on track. We're also glad you shared feedback regarding date adjustments for projects on hold. We have good news for you about this! Today, if you change a project status to "On Hold" all automated email communication to team members stops and any future/forecasted dates are automatically pushed out based on how long the project is on hold. This can be accomplished via task durations and dependencies. We will have our team reach out to you directly to provide you with a detailed walkthrough, so you can get the exact benefits you are asking for in your feedback.

Thanks again!

"Intuitive and helpful!"
What do you like best about GUIDEcx?

I absolutley love the ability to communicate all in one place with full visibility among our internal team and the client team. It's really allowed me to "step away from my inbox" and it allows my supervisor to quickly catch up on my projects.

I also really appreciate the ability to cutomize templates on the fly, and adjust things based on the individual client need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GUIDEcx?

I would love to have an "al a carte" client view customization option - for example, show them compass view instead of the entire project view (I love that compass view puts all notes, checklists, etc. in one easy to read flow), but allow them to see the gannt chart to understand why their tasks are important and what is dependant upon their completion.

I would also love a pop out or larger typing space for Assignee Task Instructions and Participant Task Instructions and the ability to tag our internal team there. Or, alternatively, if we could just link that task assignment into Project Notes, that would likely be the best solution.

For context - our milestone calls are all on our template, after each milestone call we send a recap email and next steps/instructions. I have been using Project Notes for this, which works wonderfully since I can tag both our internal team and customer team, but then the customer will also receive a second email when their next task starts and it feels duplicative. I struggle to know what to put in those task notes aside from without repeating what was already in the Project Notes. I also don't want to send them searching between two different places/email to have all of the information they need. The ability to avoid the second email, but include all teams (our directors are to be copied on all client communication), would streamline things even further. "Powerful and getting better every day"
What do you like best about GUIDEcx?

GuideCX offers many tools to help build quality and consistency into your onboarding processes. Capturing time spent, adding checklists and driving your process through dependencies are all things we needed more control over when we implemented GuideCX, and now we have those! There is a time investment spent in getting the system set up, but that's about as easy as it can reasonably be and it's gradually paying off. Would happily recommend GuideCX to organizations looking to improve their onboarding process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GUIDEcx?

The biggest issue needing attention (and I think it's in the works) is being able to push template changes out to current projects. We work in an agile environment where we are making constant improvements to the process and template, but the process of replicating those changes (task instructions, new tasks, etc.) makes it tedious and time consuming if we want to incorporate those changes into active projects. Looking forward to seeing some improvement on this.

More control over the reports module (showing/hiding reports, renaming them, ordering them on the menu) would be much appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Danni Thaw of GUIDEcx

"Efficiency, Ease, Secure, and Sara F. aka Customer Support"
What do you like best about GUIDEcx?

As a client who has used GuideCX daily over the past two years, I can proudly say that this software has been a game changer in my overall performance as a Project Manager. Not only due to the efficiency the software provides me but most importantly for the platform it allows my clients to communicate, and stay on task, throughout the life of a project.

The software provides a secure platform to message directly with your clients and co-workers with a simple @ mention, as well as a secure way to upload and download documentation. The ability to create templates for different types of products that might fall within the scope of a project and have the ability to create a checklist within a task is time management at its core.

More than anything the customer service I have received from GuideCX has been above and beyond. If it wasn't for Sara F. with customer support I would be a lost soul. She is always quick to respond to my support chat requests and If there is ever anything that requires additional follow-up she always gets back to me in a timely manner never leaving me without an answer. As a person with over 15 years of employee management, I can say that GuideCX you have one of the best employees in Sara! Treat her right she poses the pride of GuideCX.

The overall platform, customer service, and ease of the software are honestly revolutionary. Keep up the good work. I look forward to using GuideCX for years to come. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GUIDEcx?

There aren't many downfalls. More than anything, the items that come to mind are things that GuideCX has on the roadmap and Items I've discussed with your support staff. The Time Tracking feature can be a bit tedious simply because the filtering feature at this time doesn't allow the tasks to be in the order of the project plan and or template. Alphabetically, it doesn't help me personally as I must assign the time to each task according to the project plan layout. Currently, I have to search for a task by either writing out the name of the task in the "Find a Task" search bar or by flipping through page after page using the "Load More" clickable verbiage. This, in turn, requires me to flip back and forth between the project plan tab and the time tracking tab to collect the task name and to go back to the time tracking tab to search for it. Upon clicking the "submit entry" button when applying time to a task, the page refreshes, leaving the customer at square one as they have spent XYZ amount of time clicking through the pages to get to the task they were searching for alphabetically. So if there was another task that needed time applied around that task you just entered time in for alphabetically, you would have to go back and re-flip through each page using the load more clickable verbiage to get back to where you just were.
