The auction was relatively easy to run, it was fun to see folks bidding on items, and it worked out well. The option of giving a tip but no pressure to contribute helped me feel like contributing. one person disputed their transaction, not because they didn't recognize their donation, but they were unhappy with the service they received. We were showing a negative balance, so that was confusing to me because it occurred 8 months after the auction was completed. it was very hard to find the "disputed transaction". What do you like best about Givebutter?

At the Jacksonville Speech and Hearing Center, we host an annual fundraiser called FinFest. It is one of our signature events that brings in nearly 400 attendees and $200K in fundraising. Prior to Givebutter, we used Eventbrite to sell tickets, then Give Lively to secure sponsorships and pledges, then Greater Giving to manage our silent auction. It was a relief to find Givebutter that helped us eliminate these extra platforms, processes, and associated fees! We appreciate the ease of implementation with the onboarding team. We were so happy with the all-in-one solution that could manage our sponsorships, ticket sales, and silent auction and help us with our donor database and data hygiene. What do you like best about Givebutter?

I like the ability of having all my donors, partners, contacts in one place. The ability to add financial donations from other sources (like cash or check) and to accept a variety of payments from ACH, credit card, PayPal, etc is also great for our clients. I appreciate that I can look at a donor or household and see how much they have given in the past and which promotions / fundraisers are most effective. And - if everything is in put correctly - GiveButter saves an enormous amount of time in January, as it can prepare my tax contribution letters in just a few minutes! What do you dislike about Givebutter?

Even with the training videos, I feel as if there is a lot of experimenting necessary to figure out how something works. For example, I didn't realize that there is a limit on how many text to give taglines we can have (only 3 for the free version) AND when I asked the chatbot for assistance, it just sent me in circles without an answer. The platform is user-friendly and the customer support during the onboarding phase, especially in the first 90 days, was outstanding. What I dislike about Givebutter is that the campaign building tools are not very customizable. It can be challenging to tailor campaign pages exactly how we want them to look and function. Also, some of our donors have been confused by the extra fees that appear at checkout, which adds an extra step for us to explain and educate them on the donation process. What do you like best about Givebutter?

We used Givebutter for Autism Support of Alabama’s Autism Shines Gala, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The platform was user-friendly, easy to navigate, and made managing our event smooth and successful. The onboarding process with Russel was wonderful—he walked us through everything with patience and clarity. The live chat support was also a huge plus, always quick and helpful whenever we had a question.

The interface is very user friendly and as I build on the platform am able to find more features and customize each campaign to its specific needs. It took a few clicks to see how much money was given to fees or transaction fees on the platform, I was doing a lot of math wondering what $8 werent accounted for until I found where they show that, likewise would like to know what transaction those fees applied to. What do you like best about Givebutter?

We use the the free version of Givebutter, which helps save a lot of cost for our Non-Profit. We are able to easily create Campaigns to raise funds for all types of different events. The form creation process is easy and we can track all sales through the Transactions page. We even make use of the free" text to donate" feature instead of generating new QR codes for everything. Lastly, we love the ticketing system where we can sell event tickets, then check guests in through an iPad or laptop as they come to our events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Givebutter?

This platform is so customizable and so easy to use. We have built out out at least 10 different type of events and this single platform can handle them all take in the money give us options around fees, and it’s been a seamless experience for us as well as for the patrons and donors to our preschool community now that we’re going into our second year some of the events are repeated, and the ability to simply duplicate the event from the year before and then go in and update. Only key changes has been invaluable where set up initially in the learning curve was taking me an hour or so per event now I am done within 15 minutes. My new event is up and running and ticket sales or donation. Collection is just waiting for people to come to the website, not waiting for me to figure out the best way to collect. The only issue we had in the beginning, which has now been updated by the platform was the mobile version for event organizers. We struggled with understanding how to use our mobile devices to take card payments, but since we have started using this platform, they’ve made some critical updates to the user friendliness on that side and so I really don’t have anything that I would change.
