What do you like best about Kickbox?

"Use Kickbox Every Month for E-Newsletter to Credit Union Members"

What do you like best about Kickbox?

We greatly enjoy utilizing Kickbox every month, and have for 5 years and counting! We use Kickbox every month for our monthly E-Newsletter that we send out to all of our Credit Union members & guests (14,000+). We know that we have outdated or misspelled email addresses for our members and guests, and Kickbox helps us find and correct them by filtering through our mailing list. Kickbox provides many downloadable choices once the scrub is completed, including a more "sendable" and "receivable" email list. We then upload the Kickbox-provided list to HubSpot, and we know it is as clean as it can be. HubSpot highly recommended Kickbox to me 5 years ago to help maintain the integrity of our lists, and we've been using their services ever since! What do you dislike about Kickbox?

As our list has grown over 5 years, it takes a little long to get our finalized list. Wish it could be quicker, but we know a lot of hard work is going on behind the scenes! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kickbox solving and how is that benefiting you?

Kickbox muddles through our "messy" outdated and misspelled emails and updates our emails so that we can use more of them to ultimately reach our Credit Union members. It's magic! We usually select the "most preferred" downloadable list, and this has always helped negate any pause in emailing our monthly e-newsletter from HubSpot. It also keeps our lists in the acceptable range of emails delivered per HubSpot. This saves me a ton of time, and I know that our emails are being delivered to as many of our members as possible. What do you like best about Kickbox?

The most helpful part about kickbox is that it identifies the emails that are just just bottom-line undeliverable, so I can delete those right away. This helps me keep my CRM up-to-date. I like that they categorize the results of the verification in undeliverable, unknown, risky, and deliverable. It's easy to use and affordable. What I like best about Kickbox is how quick and easy it is to use. The interface is super intuitive, and I was able to get up and running without much of a learning curve. What do you dislike about Kickbox?

I’ve found Kickbox helpful overall, but there are definitely a few things I dislike. The pricing isn’t very flexible—it gets expensive quickly as usage scales, and the fact that credits expire if unused is frustrating. I’ve also noticed some valid emails being flagged as risky or unknown without much explanation, which makes it hard to trust the results fully. It would be a lot more helpful if there was clearer reasoning provided behind the classifications. Support has been hit or miss in my experience, and compared to some other tools I’ve tried, Kickbox lacks deeper insights like engagement signals or additional enrichment data. What do you like best about Kickbox?

Their adaptability. I have used Kickbox in multiple different roles over the years. When I needed to verify just a few thousand email addresses on a one-time basis, Kickbox made it super easy to sign up and quickly get started.

This could be totally wrong, but I do have a memory of my team not being notified when we reached out cap of verifications which briefly led to a deliverability issue for us. We very well could have missed an email related to this, but maybe just some more outreach when something like this happens to ensure deliverability isn't harmed. It is reliable, consistent and worth using to improve the metrics of your email performance. We have also enabled the API integration directly with our websites and the verification happens at the real time. The support team is prompt in answering any query related to implementation.
