Lytho keeps our graphic design and communications team on track and centralizes all of our project information in one place. It’s helped us manage a high volume of work while staying efficient and organized. I love being able to easily refer back to previous projects, and it has definitely improved how we collaborate as a team. The program is much more detailed than other project management systems I’ve used. Being able to build full campaigns is a huge advantage, and the overall organization is significantly better.

I’d love to see a visual “wall” or dashboard that shows which projects have been completed and when files are uploaded. Basecamp has a feature like this, and it’s really helpful for seeing what the team is working on. Right now, we can’t easily see what others are working on, so having this kind of visibility would provide more insight and alignment.

I love the straightforward and easy setup process, especially with the White Glove onboarding support and weekly calls to ensure smooth implementation. The centralized management of requests helps reduce clutter and chaos, offering excellent version control. I find the request intake forms and markup tools particularly useful, and the intuitive review environment that supports various formats like videos, web pages, and PDFs is outstanding. I find it challenging to easily go back and reference the original requests while I am inside of a review. Although I can pull it up, I wish there was a way to more easily see what the original requester had input as their requirements. I love how Lytho provides us the ability to keep projects and campaigns organized. It’s a great resource for reviewing drafts and seeing other team members comments in real time. The only suggestion I have for Lytho is to make improvements on allowing the interface to be more intuitive for those not used to a Workflow Management software. We have team members from various departments who need to review assets. From Marketing and Communications all the way to Engineering and Manufacturing. Some departments are not as familiar with using this type of software and so making navigation through Lytho as simple and intuitive as possible would be a big help in getting all departments onboarded and comfortable using it! Our team truly values the customized features offered by Lytho. Their customer service is exceptional, consistently providing quick and responsive support for any of our custom needs. They are a fantastic company to work with, and I honestly don't know how we would manage to keep track of all our project's moving parts without them.

The proof review process has significantly streamlined our operations, making them much smoother and more efficient. Additionally, the option to add Levels of Effort (LOE) to tasks is incredibly helpful for building and creating accurate project schedules.

Our team's use of the Lytho DAM grows every day. Someone is constantly uploading deliverables, photos, or brand assets. We have over 65k assets in the asset manager and our brand guides are being used for everything from photo sharing to new visual brand guides for a comprehensive capital campaign. The reporting features in the DAM are basically nonexistent, especially compared to the Workflow side. Having reporting on the DAM will allow our team to really sell the value to our leadership team for how our stakeholders and outside customers use it and the assets we provide. The fact that you can do one task many ways is both useful and confusing. Introducing new users, they have to be thoroughly trained on how our org does it so we know where to find things in the same place.

The most helpful about Lytho is being able to report to your manager what projects you are working on. This helps track time for possibly the business taking into consideration hiring new employees. The upsides of using Lytho is being able to request a project or work for a specific team to accept rather than just sending an email and the risk for someone to miss it. The least I like is the multiple locations for tasks. There is a campaign we use, which is understandable, but then there is also product and work. As a beginner to Lytho I do find it hard to use and understand until you continue using it. 3 months in, I still get confused and don’t remember where a certain request has went. It is also hard to understand some of the filters you can set up for different views. I am tagged to a lot of projects that I just have to pay an invoice for, and because of that, I lose all of the other ones I need to work on before those and have to search through all of the pages for new projects. I do not find it the best at being user friendly or self explanatory in the beginning. This is a worry for other new employees as I am someone who needs to promote this program on a positive way, and I believe it will be a hard program to navigate for the older generation that may not have as many technical skills as well. Lytho has reformed our department's workflow from the ground up. We've been using both Workflow and the DAM for 4+ years. What was once stacks of paper request forms, followed by folders of proofs being passed to coworkers has now transformed to organized, dated tasks, centralized worklists, timed proofs and complete campaigns viewable at a glance.
