"PDQ Connect - Simple & Effective and getting better all the time"
What do you like best about PDQ Connect?

I've been using PDQ Connect now for just over the year and even in that time the product has greatly improved.

With the recent addition of Mac Support & the ability to use Remote Desktop across our estate, it has proven extremely useful. Custom Packaging & Deployments are simple to achieve using a simple front end that isn't over complicated and PDQ has an extensive catalogue of pre-packaged applications that simply require deployment.

Automation makes scheduling deployments & upgrades worry free and considering the price of other products that I've used in the pass (MECM), PDQ is extremely good value for the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?

I would love a free form text box to be able to write certain notes and descriptions against discovered assets, as PDQ Connect is useful as a cross reference to my CMDB and sometimes adding a description to a certain asset would prove useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, but powerful"
What do you like best about PDQ Connect?

PDQ provides an ease of use I haven't seen in similar products, much our workflow is now 'set it and forget it', with applications, updates, etc. being deployed automatically during initial setup or during check-in. It's been an excellent addition to our toolset and was easy to integrate into our workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?

The PDQ Connect user interface is simple, but at times this is a hinderance. For example, filtering through hundreds of automation by name can be challenging - categorical groups could be something to assist with this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best software for managing remote devices"
What do you like best about PDQ Connect?

What I like best about PDQ Connect is its ability to manage remote endpoints without requiring a VPN or direct network connection. In a distributed environment like ours, with users spread across various terminals and remote offices, that cloud-first design makes software deployment, updates, and inventory management incredibly efficient. The lightweight agent installs quickly, and the intuitive web interface allows us to push updates or run scripts across devices in real time, regardless of their location. It’s dramatically reduced the time and effort needed to maintain remote systems, and the visibility it provides into device health and software status is invaluable for staying compliant and secure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?

It has limited scripting and automation flexibility compared to PDQ Deploy & Inventory. More detailed reporting capabilities would be helpful for larger teams like ours Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"PDQ Connect - transformed ability to track environment and get software to users"
What do you like best about PDQ Connect?

Configuration and initial onboarding was very simple and supported by the PDQ team.

I converted from PDQ Inventory and Deploy to the cloud based offering as so many more computers were not on our main network

I use the web application daily to see what software is installed, to install software, to auto install software on newly installed computers, and to monitor what client device users have.

Customer support has been very quick to answer questions when contacting generally within the same business day.

They offer patch management but have not upgraded to that feature yet.

Integrated with Azure/Entra identity for single sign on as well as Google SSO. As well as being able to view Entra information for devices that are cloud enrolled only. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?

It is a system that manages Windows Devices only, you would need other products to manage Apple, iOS, Linux, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"PDQ Connect: The IT Automation Game-Changer That Actually Lives Up to the Hype"
What do you like best about PDQ Connect?

The most helpful things in PDQ Connect is the set it and forget it automation it has. Have a piece of software that every device needs? PDQ will continuously attempt to install it (when the device is reporting online). Management made easy. As long as the device is connected to the internet, you have control!

PDQ Connect's support team is awesome! They are happy to help because many of them were sys/network admins in the past. They know what we need to help us succeed. We use PDQ Connect every day in our workflow process. It's super easy to install and integrate as part of your current workflow and business process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?

Right now, PDQ connect only focuses on Management of Windows devices vs also including linux/Mac. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Glad we moved from on-prem to cloud"
What do you like best about PDQ Connect?

We had been having issues with deployments and inventory since we had a lot of people who are hybrid and sometimes connecting through VPN would take a long time for the machines to refresh and show up as online. Once we moved over to Connect those problems were gone.

Setup is extremely quick, easy, and the pre-made packages help a lot with keeping commonly used apps up to date. We also really enjoy the added features that have come out since we moved over like the reporting, vulnerability scanning, and remote desktop. We still use MDT for our deployments but have since integrated PDQ Connect to deploy all of our software packages.

I have had a lot of success with the support team when we had some issues with groups of endpoints showing offline and they were able to resolve it quickly.

Our organization uses it every day and it's only getting better with more and more functionalities being added every month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?

The only thing I didn't like was we couldn't transfer all of our on-prem packages to Connect, but it really didn't take us too long to rebuild them all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"PDQ Connect - A True Game Changer"
What do you like best about PDQ Connect?

Our organization uses this tool every day to serve our growing district. This web-based deployment tool, bringing the best of the previous Inventory and Deploy tool, is user-friendly, fast with deployments and capable of sending packages out in bulk: in both number of deployment as well as size of packets.

The PDQ development team continually is working to improve their product and truly listen to the feedback their users provide. Over the past year, they have vastly improved the product, and I have no doubt they will continue to hone this remarkable tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?

I would like to see packages that other organizations have created and be able to adopt their work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"PDQ Connect is awesome"
What do you like best about PDQ Connect?

I like that its a cloud based version of Deploy and Inventory. We have a decent sized remote force, and trying to push software or updates through Deploy over VPN can be challenging. Agent based deploymnets and inventory is definitely the future. Looking forward to seeing this product grow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDQ Connect?

Its not as user friendly as D&I, but such is life when you transition to browser based applications. The only downside right now, is we are starting to transition to cloud, but D&I makes more sense for our current environment. Having to duplicate everything twice can be annoying. It would be nice if there was a connector between the two products that would upload packages, or linked and updated inventory from the connect agent to help keep our inventorys clean and up to date.
