What do you like best about Product Fruits?

I was looking for an onboarding tool with a fair price compared to the options available in the market, and Product Fruits exceeded my expectations. It’s easy to set up, very intuitive for end users, and provides all the essential features I need to guide and engage new customers.

What do you dislike about Product Fruits?

While using the tour builder, I noticed that some modals presented styling issues when switching between languages. Additionally, I feel the platform could benefit from a more robust translation feature, as English is not my first language. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Product Fruits?

The Product Fruits team has been fantastic since our first introduction call. I received a thorough walk-through of the services tailored to our business needs, and their support system has been excellent. Ricardo and his team have been especially helpful and responsive.

The platform itself is very user-friendly once you take the time to familiarize yourself with the features. I really appreciate that I have full control over creating and customizing tours for our company, while also having reliable support when needed. We are currently using the tours for new users, which helps alleviate the onboarding team from answering repetitive FAQs and allows employees to learn the system at their own pace.

Our IT team found implementation and integration to be smooth and straightforward, which made adoption even easier.

We use Product Fruits on a weekly basis to support onboarding and training.

What do you dislike about Product Fruits?

The only challenge I’ve noticed is needing to manually save every time an edit is made to a tour. An auto-save feature or version history log would be a great improvement, helping to avoid the risk of losing hours of work if something isn’t saved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Product Fruits made it really easy for us to build onboarding flows, tooltips, and checklists without heavy coding. The UI is straightforward, and the customization options allowed us to match our brand look and feel. What do you like best about Product Fruits?

Very responsive, fast AI. AI bot performance and its providing links to more information after a query is very impressive. Tooltips are very customizable and powerful. Life Ring icon in the UI can be located absolutely anywhere, and offers fine-tuned placement. News callout dialog box is well executed. UI is generally very good. Articles offer great formatting tools and copying/pasting content into them was a breeze. AI chat may be the best in the segment. Confluence integration is good as well. Implementation was a snap. What do you dislike about Product Fruits?

Styles could be a bit better. the Life Ring knowledge center could offer a bit more style choices. Tooltip icons could be offered in a custom size. Sometimes Tooltips fight you a little on placement, but its still one of the best tools when it comes to TT. When the Life Ring expands to a larger help widget window, the window could be bigger/size-customizable. Analytics needs a bit more work, but it's getting there. Would prefer the option to keyword search scraped web content by default or else have it integrated as a searchable source a bit easier and not just as an ai-source, as some users still don't treat the ai bot as a search engine or use it to its fullest potential. UserGuiding and others are a bit better there, but if you're using the integrated PF knowledge base its not an issue. Some integrations require third-party tools that cost $$$$. Would like to see scraped web content embedded in life ring help center widget. As time goes on and doc moves into native knowledge centers provided by PF and others, perfectly handling and embedding web-scraped sources will be less important. Right from the beginning, I was impressed by Product Fruits. I was able to self-onboard and try every feature very easily. I never had to talk to any salespeople and the time to value was exceptional. I wasn't willing to consider some competitors based on their hidden pricing, so PF was a refreshing change. As a product manager, finding the time to quickly and easily let clients know that we've either pushed out new features or might have some downtime has been challenging. We've now been using Product Fruits for a few years, and it's saved us loads of time and effort, not only letting us know that there are new features, but being able to target specific users based on their habits has been a game-changer. We've also had good customer support when new features came out or when we needed a bit of onboarding. Overall, it's a great product that we use very regularly. However, this isn't necessarily a drawback, as the tool's straightforward nature is one of its strengths, particularly for smaller teams or early-stage products. The trade-off between advanced analytics and simplicity means we can quickly implement engagement features and focus on creating impactful content without needing extensive technical resources.
