"Reclaim.ai Knocks it Outta the Park!"
What do you like best about Reclaim.ai?

The first thing that brought me to Reclaim was the price and I had done a search on alternatives to Motion. I liked Motion but there were a few things that didn't work for me and Reclaim's price caught my attention. And, they had a trial version. So... I gave it a try.

Wow, was I impressed! I love the ease of use... it was very easy to get started and things just made sense. I also love that it connects to Outlook and the tasks show up on my Outlook calendar and my Outlook stuff shows up on my Reclaim.ai planner! So cool!

I love that it's easy to move things around, reschedule and make changes. It also easy to add a task quickly that you already did but didn't have on your planner. "Habits" is a great feature as well. I haven't used the "Focus" time feature much yet but I like that it's an option. Probably will use it in the future. The "Scheduling Links" is a really nice feature as well.

I also like that Reclaim.ai isn't trying to be everything to everybody. I really hope they stay in their lane because what they are doing with this app is awesome. It might not be for everyone but it is exactly the app I had been looking for!

I use Reclaim.ai every day for my part-time work as an I.T. Manager for my church, my almost full-time work as the CEO of my nonprofit and all my personal tasks. Works great for all of them. (and they have a nonprofit discount!)

Try it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Reclaim.ai?

One of the only things I would love to see is, maybe, color coding for tasks. I would like to distinguish between work, personal and my nonprofit. Small thing tho.

Also, a companion app would be nice although it works really well even just using it on my iPhone from a browser so not a complaint but rather just a wish for a dedicated app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lots of potential, still missing features but getting there"
What do you like best about Reclaim.ai?

Unlike most people (possibly), I started using Reclaim.ai for it’s meeting links feature (think Calendly) and was pleased to learn that they had smart scheduling (think Clockwise), and integration with external calendars (Outlook, Gmail).

I love the interface, aesthetics, and the idea of recurring tasks, habits, and focus time that are dynamically rescheduled by AI. I also found the multiple priority levels concept for the purpose of automated rescheduling to be immediately intuitive.

I have not tried yet the multi-calendar syncing, but it is great to know it is an option without recurring to an additional paid service outside of Reclaim.

As I write this review, the product is in early stages, so I am excited to see where they go next. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Reclaim.ai?

These are more missing features than dislikes:

1. Lack of support for iCloud Calendar. One of the founders recently expressed he shares this pain point with me, but there seems to be no concrete plan for this feature right now. I imagine it is a matter of handling the majority of business cases first. I know that Apple can also be obtuse when it comes to third party integrations sometimes, so I understand.

There is a workaround, but it is not ideal: enable public links on the iCloud calendars you want to sync to Reclaim, subscribe your Outlook or Google Calendar to these iCloud calendars (this creates a new calendar for each link), then go to Reclaim’s settings and select the calendars to sync (they appear as a checklist under the Outlook or Gmail calendar). If you have Outlook or Gmail synced to iCloud, the new subscription will cause your iCloud events to be synced back to iCloud, causing duplicates. To solve this, just hide either the iCloud calendars or the subscription calendars in Outlook/Gmail. Oh and this setup may lead to a significant delay in your iCloud events showing up in Reclaim (minutes to hours). I know, quite the trip, but it works.

2. I’d love to have the ability to elegantly show tasks and events I want to focus on during a Focus Time. For now, the only options are: choose either one or the other; or play with settings to NOT reschedule your focus times and tasks when they clash, which causes the events to show separately, next to each other. None is elegant or pleasing.

3. Scheduling links and schedules (“Hours” in the settings): you can only select the existing core schedules (personal, work, meeting times). When setting up your scheduling link, you cannot select any custom hours you create. Seems like a non-issue until you want your work meeting times to be different from your scheduling link meeting times. For instance, imagine a recruiter who wants to allow company meetings during working hours, but wants to constrain candidate meetings to the morning only. As it currently stands, the recruiter would not be able to restrict the hours in this way for the links they share with candidates. If you go the other way around, you can set the custom hours to apply to a certain links, but these show as preferred times (green dot on a time) rather than available times, which the candidate may not understand or respect.

4. I think there is lack of clarity and granularity in choosing what events people logged into Reclaim will see when comparing with their calendar. They say you can do this in the calendar sync settings, but this is for sync between external calendars (Outlook, Gmail), not with Reclaim calendar. A feature to show and change event/calendar visibility as shown within Reclaim is needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great job!"
What do you like best about Reclaim.ai?

I enjoy the scheduling feature. It allows me to use different schedule formats for different groups. I have two organizations for which I need to maintain separate meeting schedules. I really appreciate the habits section; it has been a great help to me. Additionally, the priorities function works well for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Reclaim.ai?

When it comes to scheduling links, I would prefer a domain name instead of a long schedule link. The help section is outdated; adding more YouTube instructions in each section would help guide us in understanding everything. Once we're done, we can turn it off.

I have noticed that scheduled events are doubling up everywhere. It would be helpful to have better instructions on how to manage the duplication of events between personal and work calendars. I'm experiencing a lot of duplication when working with your app and my Google Calendar settings. The written instructions are unclear and very confusing.

Short videos would be more effective. I just want to address the issues and fix them without having to wade through extensive written instructions. Please keep it simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exactly what you need to increase productivity across work + personal tasks."
What do you like best about Reclaim.ai?

The integration with to-do-ist makes it super easy to add tasks while I'm on the go and then have then synced into my calendar at the best possible time. The ability to sync my work and personal calendars and keep all my persona to-dos private from my co-workers is great. The ability to separate work and personal tasks with tags and then have scheduled windows to complete them like work tasks from 8-5pm and personal tasks from 5pm-9pm. It really organizes everything and makes it a lot easier to track habits and create daily routines. I was a HUGE motion fan and had never heard of reclaim before and when I signed up for Motion again this time they whole platform was way overcomplicated. I tried a free version of reclaim and within an hour I was all set up with perfect time blocks, integrations to all my apps and a super productive day/week scheduled. I honestly cancelled Motion on the spot and paid for Reclaim immediately because the ease of use and all of the core features being so user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Reclaim.ai?

Honestly I wish there was a mobile app for reclaim that I could use but to-do-ist bascially acts as the mobile app and syncs back so that's a good work around for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great time manager!"
What do you like best about Reclaim.ai?

I have a ton of different projects and meetings going on at the same time. And my schedule is constantly shifting. Reclaim automate rescheduling of tasks when my schedule changes is a huge advantage. There's other apps that do similar things, but for me Reclaim is the right balance of automation and control. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Reclaim.ai?

I wish they have a mobile app. Other than that, it's amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reclaim is crucial for control of my calendar"
What do you like best about Reclaim.ai?

As a consultant, I embed with companies for 3-6 months at a time and need to use their gmail accounts for external facing calls. This requires me to juggle 5 different work calendar (plus my personal cal) and blocking off time was cumbersome before finding Reclaim.

The integrations with google cal are perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Reclaim.ai?

I primarily use it for the calendar sync features and haven't integrated the other smart time management use cases yet. Google should have built this feature but didn't and Reclaim solves it for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Getting close to great"
What do you like best about Reclaim.ai?

Reclaim is doing what Motion claimed to do - it integrates your task list into your calendar and dynamically shifts those task assignments in an intelligent fashion as your calendar changes and as the day progresses. It actually works, and I like it for the fact that it achieves this core functionality and integrates with Google Calendar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Reclaim.ai?

As of July 2025, it's apparent that the tool is still new and I find myself longing for features that seem elementary for a tool like this. Two things that need to be fixed for me to give Reclaim five stars:

Recurring Tasks. Currently the platform instructs you to use "Habits", but those behave differently from "Tasks." Habits are added to the calendar but they aren't integrated in the slide out tray showing your upcoming tasks and what's "Up Next". You have to switch views into "Priorities" to see your Habits, and you can't just click to mark the Habit (aka recurring task) as complete - it takes several clicks. Overall it feels like the Habits feature was co-opted by the user demand for recurring tasks and the design doesn't align.

Control over free/busy status. I'm struggling to get Reclaim to play nice with my meeting scheduling link. Reclaim tasks create the calendar events with a free or busy status based on it's assessment, and I need control to override Reclaim's decision. Reclaim is currently assigning most of my tasks with a busy status, meaning people viewing my meeting scheduling link perceive me to be unavailable for a few days. The current settings options around this are minimal and insufficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It's a great tool to keep me on track!"
What do you like best about Reclaim.ai?

I find Reclaim.ai a great tool for me because I have some calendars and I had to jump from one to another one just to see what I had to do every day. Now, I can do that all in one place!

Me, being the procrastinator that I am, it helps me stay on track and actually do the things I need to do with the smart habits feature. I love how it plugs them in where I'm free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Reclaim.ai?

It's kind of overwhelming seeing my calendar/day all booked with something to do every hour. I'm still playing with the buffer but seems that it's only available for before or after meetings, not habits or tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing Software—Complements my todo list with time to do it!"
What do you like best about Reclaim.ai?

As a student, my ability to allocate time to do projects is limited. Now, I only have to add the task to my to do list and it is automatically scheduled. It is also easy to see if I am too far behind and need to work extra hours to catch up on assignments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Reclaim.ai?

Literally the only thing I dislike about this software is that it is in active development. It isn't fully featured yet, but even with that I still would and have recommended it to my friends. The fact that it is incomplete and still this useful speaks to its potential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Whirling Dervish"
What do you like best about Reclaim.ai?

I use ReclaimAI for the stats. I struggle with time management and making sure I'm working on the proper habits. I take advantage of the critical levels you can assign to habits. I also color-code these levels so I know which is what. I monitor my stats based on critical levels to ensure I do plenty of Deep Work. The second thing I have been impressed with is Contact support. I'm new to using Calendars, how they work, and how to set them up. They have responded quickly and can break down the solutions so I understand how to do what I need done. I also appreciate their feature that allows me to download the notes from support in case I need to refer to them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Reclaim.ai?

Although the Time defense feature is excellent, I haven't gotten it to work. It is very possible I'm not setting this up right. When I use it, my Calendar events are all over the place. The more I use it, the better I will understand how it works. Adding vacation or day off would be neat, and it automatically updates your day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
