While TrustArc is a strong platform overall, one area I think could be improved is the user experience. Some modules can feel a bit complex or require additional configuration to fully leverage their capabilities. I really appreciate the exceptional support and communication right from the start, particularly from our key contact, Gerard Puthiyaveetil (gerard.puthiyaveetil@trustarc.com) and his team, who provided useful materials like support videos to us to better understand the process. This assistance made managing and implementing more cookies licenses for cookie management in many of PROEDUCA Univertity websites (Injection of Banner and Modal in each of them and Consent manager use to collet and centraise consent choices) seamless. TrustArc's help in ensuring GDPR compliance across all company websites is invaluable. The strong collaboration with TrustArc and their quick response to queries enhances my experience significantly. This high level of service makes TrustArc our provider of choice and because of that more licenses have been purchased this year 2025 to be implemented in other PROEDUCA domains :-). One of the standout improvements I’ve noticed recently is the increased flexibility in consent banner options. Whether it’s styling, language variations, or region-specific behavior, TrustArc makes it easy to tailor banners without heavy dev involvement. It’s a big win when you’re trying to strike the balance between compliance and user experience. I’ve also seen better support for day-to-day consent management tasks — from configuring granular preferences to staying aligned with the latest regulatory changes. It’s still the dashboards for me. They haven’t quite caught up to the rest of the platform’s improvements. They’re often slow to load, and when they finally do, there’s not a whole lot to dig into. I find myself wishing for more actionable insights, like clearer consent trends, breakdowns by region or device, or even something as simple as banner interaction rates over time. Also, with A/B testing becoming such a standard practice, having built-in support to compare the performance of different consent banner versions would really take things to the next level. TrustArc does not support running multiple publishes or scans simultaneously, and it would be more efficient if it also listed all subpages scanned under a given URL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

TrustArc has long been recognized in the privacy and compliance space, which gives a sense of reliability, ecosystem presence, and domain expertise. Since many organizations operate across jurisdictions, TrustArc’s ability to track, alert, and help with compliance across GDPR, CCPA, and others is valuable. It’s frustrating that expanding functionality requires purchasing additional modules, which makes it tough to get internal approval for broader use. The export tools also fall short, they often don’t provide the specific data needed in a usable format. We use the TRUSTe Certified Privacy seal on our website, and it's been a straightforward way to show users that we take data privacy seriously.
