"One platform for the Easy and Effective Event Tracking & User Engagement"
What do you like best about WebEngage?

The Customer Data Platform (CDP) is really helpful, it lets us bring data from different sources together and get a full view of our users.

Setting up and tracking transactional emails is simple, which saves time and reduces mistakes.

Marketing automation has gotten much better. We can now create complex workflows with multiple triggers and conditions without needing extra tools.

The platform also has improved analytics dashboards, giving more insights into user behavior and how campaigns are performing.

Overall, WebEngage feels faster and smoother when handling large amounts of data and campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebEngage?

The dashboard can be a bit confusing for new users. Grouping similar features together would make it easier to find things.

Sometimes, reports take a little longer to load, especially when working with large datasets.

Some parts of the interface, like the campaign builder, aren’t very intuitive. Some options are hidden under multiple clicks, which can be frustrating.

Having more ready-to-use templates for campaigns and emails would make it quicker and easier for beginners to get started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A fantastic tool for analysis and customer insights"
What do you like best about WebEngage?

Recommendation Templates & Visual Previews

They’ve added visual pre-built templates for product recommendations (e.g., “Top Items”, “Personalised Suggestions”, “Relevant Products”) so you don’t always have to start from scratch.

Collections with Advanced Criteria Builder

More flexibility in filtering & sorting recommendations via “Collections” — you can use nested conditions (AND/OR logic), combine user attributes, events, campaign inputs in real time.

Collapse Key for Push Notifications

If you have multiple push notifications that are related (e.g., different status updates of an order), the new collapse key ensures only the latest relevant message is shown, not clutter.

Upgrades to Funnels UI / Event Analytics

The Funnels experience has been made more intuitive, featuring quick edits to funnel steps, the ability to view conversion times, filters by user attributes / segments / control groups, as well as the option to switch between views (charts/tables). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebEngage?

Learning Curve & Onboarding

The platform is feature-rich, but first-time users often feel overwhelmed.

More interactive walkthroughs, contextual tooltips, or an AI-driven setup assistant could help reduce friction.

Pricing Transparency

WebEngage’s pricing is not openly listed and can be perceived as expensive for startups/SMBs.

Tiered, transparent pricing or modular plans could attract a wider audience.

UI/UX Consistency

While the platform has improved its analytics and journey builders, some users report that different modules (dashboards, campaign setups, reports) feel disjointed.

A more consistent design system across all modules could smooth the experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool for Marketing Automation"
What do you like best about WebEngage?

I have been using WebEngage from last six months for my organization. Its user friendly dashboard is all what i loved the most. Sending marketing communications to target audience is very easy, it offers various channels like Whatsapp, RCS, SMS, Email and WebPush Notifications. Moreover, it is very easy to create various types of Audience Segments. The most important thing is it has capability to reach unknown users via Onsite Notifications. And those users can further be used for remarketing purposes via Google and Meta Ads. I highly recommend WebEngage to Marketers who want to go with Automation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebEngage?

Sometimes it takes time to approve the Whatsapp templates. I don’t know whether it is from Meta side or WebEngage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Feature-rich and reliable platform for user engagement"
What do you like best about WebEngage?

The platform brings a lot of value with its wide number of features—push notifications, emails, journeys, segmentation, everything works well together. I found the ease of use to be very good, especially once things were up and running. We use it regularly, and it’s helped us improve communication with users across different channels. The journey builder is especially well-designed and easy to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebEngage?

The ease of implementation could be better. Setting things up, especially for web, needed some back and forth. The documentation wasn’t very clear in some places, and the ease of integration depends a lot on your setup. It wasn’t super difficult, but I did expect it to be smoother. Also, customer support was helpful, but responses could have been a little quicker during the setup phase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Experience with Webengage"
What do you like best about WebEngage?

1. Accurate campaign metrics & analytics:

WebEngage’s dashboard provides precise, real-time campaign data—funnels, cohorts, paths, and more—so I always know what's working and can optimize quickly.

2. Easy and smooth campaign execution

The journey builder and campaign manager are intuitive and user-friendly, enabling me to set up multi‑channel campaigns (email, SMS, WhatsApp) with minimal effort.

3. Excellent customer support

WebEngage’s support is proactive and responsive, helping me troubleshoot and refine campaigns swiftly

4. User-friendly and growth-oriented platform

The interface is clean and easy to navigate, even when building complex workflows. It's helped me grow professionally by enabling me to design and execute sophisticated, data-driven campaigns independently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebEngage?

1. Slow performance during peak times:

I often experience noticeable slowdowns, especially around 6 pm each day when the platform seems to lag. It affects my workflow and campaign setup process.

2. Segmentation limitations

While WebEngage allows segmentation based on inclusion or exclusion criteria, it doesn't support combining both for more advanced, nuanced audience targeting. This restricts the flexibility in crafting precise segments.

3. Lack of control over email A/B test timing:

In email A/B testing, I can't specify how long the experiment should run before selecting a winner. The tool doesn't let me wait for a custom duration; it just picks the winning variant based on default criteria and immediately applies it. This limits my ability to make data-driven decisions over a chosen time frame. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Customer Engagement Platform with Excellent ROI"
What do you like best about WebEngage?

What I appreciate most about WebEngage is how seamlessly it turns user data into actionable insights. Its advanced analytics and segmentation help me understand user behaviour across channels, while the intuitive interface makes it easy to test and optimize strategies. It’s a powerful tool for making informed, data-driven decisions without the usual complexity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebEngage?

I find that integrating WebEngage data with external tools can be a bit clunky, which makes deeper analysis harder than it should be. Also, setting up advanced event tracking often needs developer support, which slows down quick testing and iteration. A bit more flexibility would go a long way. "Comprehensive and Effective Marketing Automation for B2B Lifecycle Management"
What do you like best about WebEngage?

WebEngage stands out as a powerful, user-friendly platform that enables seamless campaign execution for both marketing and product teams. The interface is intuitive, which makes setting up and managing campaigns straightforward. Additionally, WebEngage adapts impressively to our B2B e-commerce use case, delivering features that align well with our customer lifecycle management needs. It’s an ideal solution for driving engagement in a B2B context. I also appreciate their prompt customer support and agile account management team, who are proactive in recommending solutions and efficiently handling account-related use cases and issues. This level of support has been invaluable in optimizing our campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebEngage?

One area for improvement is in conversion attribution, where it can be challenging to accurately attribute conversions to their respective channels. Additionally, I’d appreciate having more attributes available for offsite surveys, allowing us to gather user information without needing custom development. Enhancing these aspects would make the platform even more robust and versatile for B2B use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A powerful platform that transformed our customer engagement strategies"
What do you like best about WebEngage?

The best part about WebEngage is how easy it is to create complex, multi-channel customer journeys without needing any technical expertise. The interface is user-friendly, and their journey builder gives us complete flexibility to automate customer communications across email, SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications, and more. Plus, the segmentation tools are extremely powerful, allowing us to target the right users at the right time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebEngage?

Initially, there was a bit of a learning curve when setting up complex journeys, especially with advanced triggers and conditions. However, once we got familiar with the platform and utilized their onboarding support and documentation, it became much easier. Also, some dashboard load times could be improved when handling very large datasets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
