"Worst decision I've ever made in the practice of law and a liability for a sole practitioner"
What do you like best about 8am LawPay?

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Nothing that was done by LawPay was easy including the changing of banks was a nightmare. If you are looking forward to losing money, please by all means use LawPay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 8am LawPay?

When you use Law Pay, please know you are giving them permissions to unilaterally enter your bank account and remove "your" monies. This can occur almost 90 days after you've allegedly been paid. Can you as a sole practitioner hold monies for 90 days while you determine whether the "client" is going to change their mind? Please know you never see the documents or alleged complaints as I have yet to see ANYTHING in writing related to the "alleged" chargeback. I believe LawPay is being used to steal monies from attorneys and you are welcome to contact me and I'll GLADLY explain it in more detail so you are protected from horrific business losses like I experienced with LawPay. "Law Pay Makes Credit Card Processing Easy and Reliable for Law Firms"
What do you like best about 8am LawPay?

Law Pay is a fantastic tool for taking credit card payments at my law firm. The customer support is awesome, it is simple to use, integrates with our software and they are always updating and making improvements to the software. The reports are easy to run and all encompassing for what I need to know as an administrator. Very satisfied since switching from another credit card processing company in 2022. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 8am LawPay?

I do not have a negative comment about Law Pay other than the processing fees but they are no higher than any other company I have seen so that should not be construed as a negative rating on this company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very Efficient Platform for Client Payments"
What do you like best about 8am LawPay?

It's accurate, it captures all payments and I never worry about missing data. I trust LawPay that it's all there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 8am LawPay?

Nothing, I don't think I've had a bad experience other than maybe some bad clients getting away with disputing payments. But we have since spoken to LawPay to update our Engagement Agreements accordingly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 8am LawPay?

"Easy of Payment"
What do you like best about 8am LawPay?

LawPay make receiving payment quick and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 8am LawPay?

The fact to after we provide you evidence of a consultant we had with a client, they said we never spoke with them and LawPay refunded their payment. I believe you refund the payment and did not take in account of proof of consultation Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Merchant Services for Law Firms Made Easy"
What do you like best about 8am LawPay?

The best thing about LawPay is the integrated Pay Later option. It offers our clients not only ways to pay via credit card and electronic checks, but also via a pay later option which essentially is a small loan through one of their affiliiates and approval is same day, with funds going straight to our account. The client portal is also very intuitive and user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 8am LawPay?

Credit Card processing fees can be a nuance, but that goes with most merchant card processors. although they have an option to charge the client processing fees, there are some limitations and payments made via LawPay doesn't automatically go into our Legal Practice Manageement Software, Clio Manage. "Invoicing is easy with LawPay"
What do you like best about 8am LawPay?

Ease of use and satisfies my business needs for invoicing.

LawPay is very easy to use, doesn't require a lot of training, has user-friendly interfaces, and works well to prepare and send invoices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 8am LawPay?

I would like a way to download or export data more easily and in a more complete manner. For example, all invoices sent, or all hours billed to a matter or to a client I would like to export in an excel spreadsheet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fantastic Product & Exceptional Customer Service"
What do you like best about 8am LawPay?

LawPay is packed with intuitive features that cater to a variety of business needs. The powerful reporting tools let us track all financial transactions, making it easy for our bookkeeper to balance our accounts. The real-time payment notifications on our dashboard and corresponding emails, keeps us informed of all payments coming in. The “Quick Bill” feature is one of our favorites, as it’s a simple way to send out requests for payment. The “Charge” feature is very convenient for our customers, because it gives them multiple payment options, ACH, credit card and the wonderful “Pay Later” feature, where they can apply to finance a line of credit. It is user-friendly and seamlessly integrates with other platforms we already use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 8am LawPay?

We can't really name anything we dislike about LawPay. LawPay like every other vendor has fees, and nobody likes to pay those, but their fees are competative and I feel they are in line with other companies like them, so no real complaint there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent, easy-to-use service with good fees, fast payouts, and a simple platform for any lawyer."
What do you like best about 8am LawPay?

LawPay is an excellent system. It offers a simple, user-friendly interface with easy invoice uploading, transaction reminders, and other features. Additionally, it provides fast payouts with relatively low fees, and the integrations are easy to set up. The onboarding process is straightforward, and I have not encountered a single issue since I started using LawPay. Integration is also simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 8am LawPay?

I would like to see more features for building invoices within the web platform instead of relying on an external system. Additionally, I want to access more information about the client's credit card details and location, similar to what other competitors provide. It would also be helpful to view the email and transaction process more easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"No past due accounts here"
What do you like best about 8am LawPay?

LawPay makes it a piece of cake for my clients to pay-on their phones, via QR code, or however they fancy.

I also love that processing fees draw from my operating account, not from my IOLTA account. They are the only processor I will use for my practice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 8am LawPay?

Nobody loves merchant processing fees. Besides that, I don’t dislike a thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
