Abstract

Claims (13)
- 棘突起間空隙に経皮導入するように寸法決定および構成され、長手方向軸を有する伸長したねじ山付き本体部分を備える脊椎インプラントであって、前記ねじ山付き本体部分が、内部空洞を含み、かつ前記内部空洞内で後退した格納位置と前記棘突起と係合するために前記本体部分の前記内部空洞から延在した展開位置との間を前記本体部分の長手方向軸に対して直角に伸びる共通軸の周りを前後に回転するように支持された一対の展開可能な係合部材を具備し、前記各係合部材が、中央ハブから径方向に外向きに延在する一対の湾曲した係合アームを含み、前記各係合アームが、前記棘突起と係合するための複数の歯を有する遠位鉤爪部分を含む、脊椎インプラント。
- 前記格納位置から前記展開位置に前記係合部材を前後に選択的に動かすために、前記ねじ山付き本体部分の前記内部空洞内に延在する駆動アセンブリをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 前記展開位置に前記係合部材を選択的に係止するために、前記駆動アセンブリに動作可能に関連付けられる、手段をさらに備える、請求項2に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 前記駆動アセンブリが、前記本体部分の長手方向軸に沿って前記本体部分の前記内部空洞内に延在する、主要駆動シャフトを含む、請求項2に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 各係合部材が、中央ハブから径方向に外向きに延在する1組の湾曲した係合アームを含む、請求項1に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 前記ねじ山付き本体部分が、その遠位前端部分で軸方向に内向きに先細になり、前記インプラントを前記棘突起間空隙に挿入する間、隣接した棘突起を徐々に伸延させるように構成される、外側輪郭を含む、請求項1に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 前記本体部分上にねじ山が形成され、前記本体部分の前記前端部分上に少なくとも部分的に延在する、請求項6に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 前記遠位前端部分が、前記遠位前端部分の長手方向軸に対して30度の角度で、前記本体部分の中央領域に対して軸方向に内向きに先細になる、請求項7に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 前記脊椎インプラントを剛体化させるように適合および構成される、内部コア部分をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 前記コア部分が、前記脊椎インプラントの前記遠位前端部分に配設される、統合先端部分を含む、請求項9に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 前記本体部分が、前記本体部分の中央部分が形成される材料とは異種の材料で形成される、個々に形成された近位端部分を含み、前記コア部分が、前記インプラントの前記遠位端に配設された、統合先端部分を含む、請求項1に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- a) 棘突起間空隙に経皮導入するように寸法決定および構成され、かつ内部空洞を有する、伸長した本体部分と、
b) 前記本体部分の前記内部空洞内に後退した格納位置と、前記棘突起と係合するために前記本体の前記内部空洞から延在した展開位置との間を前記ねじ山付き伸長した本体部分の前記長手方向軸に対して直角に延びる共通軸の周りを前後に動くように適合および構成される、一対の展開可能な係合部材と、
c) 前記格納位置から前記展開位置に前記係合部材を前後に選択的に動かすために、その長手方向軸に沿って前記ねじ山付き本体部分の前記内部空洞内に延在する、回転可能な駆動シャフトと、
を、備え
