Hi, Quick update about this problem for list readers. It seems that OrkAudio compiled on Itanium2 works very slowly and causes 100% CPU on very light traffic (2 Mbit/s), even when GSM compression is turned off. Steve is now running OrkAudio on a 2K3 box on the same link and the CPU usage is at about 3%. Cheers Henri -----Original Message----- From: ore...@li... Hi Steve, The CPU usage is due to the transcoding of the audio streams from ulaw = to GSM, you can quickly try out what actual CPU usage is used by the = capture itself doing this in config.xml (will turn off the mcf to GSM wav conversion): <StorageAudioFormat>native</StorageAudioFormat> Essentially, your problem here is not the CPU usage itself, it's the = fact that the queues are overflowing, thereby dropping audio frames. You can increase the sizes of the queues like this: <ImmediateProcessingQueueSize>50000</ImmediateProcessingQueueSize> <BatchProcessingQueueSize>50000</BatchProcessingQueueSize> And the audio choppiness should be fixed. Please let us know if it does = not improve the situation. Cheers Henri=20 -----Original Message----- From: ore...@li... Hi Ron, Have you observed all steps described here ? http://oreka.sourceforge.net/oreka-user-manual.html section 4.3 and 5.2. If you have double checked all of this, please do a view source, extract the links to the wav files and see if it's possible to get them directly by pasting the links into another IE window. Replace the following code in the same file: document.all.player.fileName = audioFilename; By this code: document.all.player.url = audioFilename; And you should be done. Hi Richard, It is doable, but there is currently no way of doing it using the software as is. I was thinking of developing a command that you could run against the oreka command-line interface but I have no time estimate for that. However if the transcoding did not go well, it's probably because of a codec issue, so even with a command to do this, you might still not be able to do this with the open source version. Subject: [Oreka-user] reprocessing .orig recording files Hi, is there anyway of reprocessing an original recording file. I have one file that would appear to have processed but is only 1KB and has no contents, the original file did not delete and is 64Kb. The call was 15 seconds long so I am hoping that the orig file may contain the info I need. All help appreciated.
