"Reliable observability suite for modern monitoring needs"
What do you like best about New Relic?

New Relic delivers real-time and in-depth monitoring across our entire technology stack, making it easy to visualize application and infrastructure health through highly customizable dashboards. The anomaly detection and automated alerts help proactively resolve issues before they impact end users, and integrations with other tools are quick to set up. Overall, New Relic enables fast, data-driven decisions and reduces manual troubleshooting by providing actionable insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about New Relic?

The platform has a learning curve, especially when using advanced features like distributed tracing and custom dashboards, which can require additional training for new users. The pricing model is sometimes confusing, with separate charges for different modules and data limits, so it’s important to monitor usage and understand the billing details. Documentation updates can lag behind new feature releases, leading to occasional onboarding challenges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Unified Observability, but Onboarding Can Be Overwhelming for New Users"
What do you like best about New Relic?

What I like best about New Relic is its comprehensive, unified observability platform that provides real-time insights across the entire software stack. In a world where system complexity is increasing, New Relic simplifies monitoring by bringing together metrics, logs, traces, and events in a single pane of glass. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about New Relic?

One area where I believe New Relic has room for improvement is the complexity of initial setup and instrumentation, especially for teams new to observability. While the platform offers powerful capabilities, the onboarding process—configuring agents, dashboards, and alerts—can feel overwhelming without prior experience. That said, I’ve seen that New Relic continues to invest in improving documentation, automation, and guided experiences, which shows a commitment to addressing this. "Comprehensive Observability and Seamless Integration with New Relic"
What do you like best about New Relic?

I also value how smoothly it integrates with a variety of environments and services, including cloud infrastructure, APIs, and microservices. The alerting and anomaly detection capabilities are especially useful for proactively spotting issues before they affect end users.

Overall, the depth of insights and the comprehensive observability tools offered by New Relic make it a valuable platform for ensuring high system reliability and enhancing performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about New Relic?

One aspect I find frustrating about New Relic is the complexity of the initial setup and configuration process. It often requires considerable time to adjust dashboards, set appropriate alert thresholds, and filter out irrelevant data in order to obtain truly meaningful insights. "A Game-Changer for Application Performance Monitoring"
What do you like best about New Relic?

The dashboards are excellent real-time observability across applications, infrastructure, logs and traces all in one unified platform makes diagnosing issue much faster.

Alerting system is robust and proactive, when something goes wrong or a metric crosses a threshold, I get notified quickly, which helps prevent downtime.

Deep integration works well with many languages, cloud services, and platforms which is helpful in polyglot environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about New Relic?

Learning curve is steep for new users, especially those without deep experience in observability or monitoring tools, it can be overwhelming to set up all the agents, decide what metrics to collect, build dashboards.

As usage grows (more hosts, more data ingested , more retention), the cost can escalate and pricing tiers or billing can become confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Observability with Powerful Insights, but Requires Planning and Expertise"
What do you like best about New Relic?

Real-time monitoring and alerting have been instrumental in allowing us to quickly detect and address issues before they affect our users. The detailed insights into application performance, especially the option to drill down into specific transactions and traces, are incredibly useful. Additionally, the customizable dashboards and smooth integrations with other tools, along with the flexibility to design personalized views, contribute greatly to its versatility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about New Relic?

The initial setup can be quite complex, as configuring agents and integrations often takes considerable time, especially for those new to the platform. The pricing model is another concern, since costs may rise rapidly as data ingestion increases, which makes it difficult to predict expenses. Additionally, there is a notable learning curve for advanced features, with some functionalities demanding substantial time and expertise to utilize effectively.
