"A platform useful for the organisation of our competition"
What do you like best about Award Force?

What I like the most about Award Force is that it enables:

- to explain the competition brief with documents

- to manage and review the applications from students, where they can upload documents and videos

- to judge the projects and vote for the winners

- to present the winning projects via the gallery

Using Award Force platform saves us time in our organisation, and is available online for applicants, judges, voters, program managers from everywhere.

It is easy to use thanks to tutorials and the helpdesk is fast at answering.

It's our daily tool to manage our competition and you don't need a long training to get familiar with, as it's easy to implement and use for the organising team but also other people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Award Force?

If you don't use the platform during few months, some evolutions may occur and you need to get familiar with, but it's not a real issue. In fact, it improves the platform, so must be considered as a good thing too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ease of use and high customer service makes Award Force the tops in its field"
What do you like best about Award Force?

The intuitive design makes ease of use very high. Also, Award Force's service team are incredibly helpful, even with simple requests. We've been using the system for many years now so even questions about our annual set up tasks, which we sometimes fail to remember, are answered quickly and efficiently. The team members are also great in troubleshotting any ideas we have to make it easier on our customers by letting us know if there are any new additions or features that would help implementing these ideas. There are also numerous Award Force offices around the world with invidiuals who are ready to help as soon as they receive a support email, so you never have to wait long to get an answer to your question. What do you dislike about Award Force?

When we implemented Award Force, they made some changes to the system to help the process flow of our program work better. These were all things that, I believe, they saw as bonuses to their current or future clients which is why they integreated them into the system. However, changes like this can be a slight hiccup to current users who are used to doing things a certain way. While these changes are usually in email communications, with further details able to be found, it's just a lilttle hard to know if they'll work for us or not. The upside to these ongoing system changes is that we've now been able to add several features to our program and our judges interface that weren't available when we launched but that make the user expereince much more useful as well as make it easier for us to extract information out of the system. "AwardForce: Intuitive and trustworthy"
What do you like best about Award Force?

What I really like about Award Force is that it’s purpose-built for managing awards, grants, and application programs, which makes the entire process—from collecting applications to selecting winners—so much more streamlined. The platform is user-friendly for both applicants and reviewers, which cuts down on confusion and saves time for everyone involved.

One of its biggest strengths is how customizable it is. You can tailor the application forms, set up unique judging panels, and even adjust the scoring systems to fit your specific process. This flexibility is especially helpful when you have unique needs, like making sure certain committee members abstain from reviewing specific applications due to conflicts of interest.

The judging tools are also a highlight. Award Force offers multiple judging modes, like scoring, ranking, and voting, and makes it easy to assign or restrict applications to reviewers as needed. It helps keep everything organized and fair.

Another thing I appreciate is the communication features. You can automate emails—whether it’s application confirmations, status updates, or reminders—while still keeping them personalized. It’s a huge time-saver, especially when managing a large volume of applications.

Lastly, the reporting and analytics tools are really useful. Whether you’re preparing updates for your board, reporting back to a funder, or just tracking your own program’s reach and impact, you can quickly pull detailed stats on applications, demographics, and reviewer feedback. What do you dislike about Award Force?

The only thing we dislike about AwardForce is the lack of MFA verification or 2 factor verification requirement since there is sensitive information inputted in the system from users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Lindsay Nash of Award Force

"A complete platform for managing awards end-to-end"
What do you like best about Award Force?

It provides all the necessary options to run an award. Customisable, efficient and scalable. We set our awards in a very short time and implemented all the necessary options from the previous years manual settings. It was easy for submıssıon owners, judges and admins to manage the award and it will provide further productivity enhancements as we built on success of this one in the upcoming years. Documentation and support for the application is exceptional and deserves 10 out of 10 for after sale support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Award Force?

Although all the functions are available, it requires deep investigation and detailed setup which has a manual nature. It would be great to improve the UI with a more intuitive approach and also to include search based design guidance within the app for identifying and completing the setup quickly. Response from Lindsay Nash of Award Force

Thanks so much for your positive review! We're thrilled to hear that Award Force has provided all the necessary options for you to run and scale your awards efficiently! - Lindsay

"A comprehensive way to manage our industry awards program"
What do you like best about Award Force?

AwardForce has already thought of everything, from how to handle nominations to figuring out multiple rounds of judging. The interface makes it easy for users to complete their nomination applications and for judges to do their work. It's an all-in-one solution and we are now using it for our scholarship applications as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Award Force?

We are still figuring out a few things such as creating automated emails confirming that a nomination has come in and that winners have been notified. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform is so easy to customize from the categories to even the terms that are specific to our industry. Also, when we did have questions while building out the platform, Award Force was quick to respond. They even created a short video with step-by-step instructions for us. What do you dislike about Award Force?

Nothing really. This was our first year of using it, so there was a learning curve, but it all worked out perfectly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable software for score tracking"
What do you like best about Award Force?

Award Force was a well-organized software that was very reliable and fairly intuitive to use. I was always able to log in and access/update our information without experiencing errors. We did not use support to design our platform, and I found it fairly easy to create each of the sections with the videos provided. This was our first time running our technician competition, and we chose Award Force as a reliable platform to provide a professional-looking interface. We primarily implemented the registration feature. We were able to collect and easily update a range of information from our competitors. When we had initial issues with accessing the registration the day we went live, Award Force's service team resolved our issue in less than 30 minutes. I also designed the judging/scoring features and found it easy to adjust as we developed the competition details. Our judges eventually opted to complete their scores on paper and submit manually (without even seeing the software option), so I was disappointed we did not get to use the live judging as planned. After the competition, we saw that at least one section would have benefited greatly from using this platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Award Force?

This was a new competition event. Our judges decided to use paper score sheets with manual entry, and scoring ended up being simpler than anticipated. Award Force feels like it is more robust and supports more complex scoring situations than our event needed.

When designing sections, the videos were helpful but a printable job aid showing a workflow would have been a great reference feature (e.g. create x first, then create y, then create z). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
